Sneaky - Sophie

--- Natsu's POV ---

I woke up on a bed in the infirmary room of the Fairy Tail guild. I only remembered a crazy, epic fight that Lucy, Happy, and I battled. Like usual, we beat their asses... But Lucy took on most of them on her own.

Slowly, I propped myself up on my elbows and examined all the bandage wrapped wounds on my torso. When I pulled my blanket off, I was surprised to find only a couple scratches, and nothing that really needed attention.

I got off the bed and immediately noticed Lucy, still asleep on the bed next to mine. She breathed little puffs of air as she slept and I couldn't help but notice how cute she looked and sounded.

I started sneaking over to her bedside, just to make sure everything was fine with her wounds and such. Nothing was too bad, I'm guessing Wendy worked her magic on the two of us.

"Natsu." Someone hissed from the doorway. I looked up to see Happy, whom had a bandage across his head. "Mira made us some food, let's go!"

I grinned and stood up straight. "Right! I'll meet you there buddy!" I answered, careful not to be too loud as there was someone sleeping in the room.

My partner disappeared, leaving me alone with Lucy again.

Every time I look at her, I feel impressed. I watched this girl grow stronger. And I got the front seat view as I was the one who first met her. She took on most most of those enemies the other day and that made me the happiest man ever.

"Good job Lucy... Now hurry up and wake up so we can go eat together. You deserve the best breakfast ever." I chuckle and kissed her on the lips.

Wait... What?

I jump back and cover my mouth. "IM SORRY I DIDNT MEAN TO!!" I squeaked and shielded myself, expecting her to throw me out the window... But she was still asleep.

I gulped and stiffened up as I started to walk away. But I froze and looked back at her lips. "One more shouldn't hurt..." I whispered and tip-toed over to her side, planting another soft kiss on her lips.

I smile broadly and make my way to the door, placing my hand on its wooden surface to push it open... Though I stopped once again and looked back at her sleeping figure. "Last one..."

I trotted over and gave her a longer kiss before pulling away and go going to the door yet again.

This went on for a couple more kisses but I had to force myself to stop as I could smell the breakfast from the the main room. My stomach growled and I looked down at Lucy, hoping that she didn't wake up from it.

I gave her one more kiss, though this time it was odd because her lips twitched underneath mine. I quickly pulled away and looked at her nervously.

"Hnn..." Lucy hummed as her eyes fluttered open, looking at me with confusion as she rubbed the sleep out of her beautiful chocolate brown eyes. "Natsu?"

"Y-yeah? Good morning." I chirped.

"How long was I out?"

"Not long." I shook my head quickly and glanced down at her lips. "Not very long at all... Breakfast is ready."

She stared at me blankly.

"I'm guessing you want a strawberry shake? I'll make it for you!"

"How do you know I drink those?" She asked slowly. "You don't pay attention to those kinds of things."

"Uhh because your lips tas- uhhhh well you don't know what I know AHAHA shut up lets just eat." I felt a bead of sweat roll down my temple as I began shuffling to the door, pushing it open. "I'll meet you at the bar!" I yelped and speed walked to where Mira set up breakfast. Happy had finished his fish by now.

"What took you so long?" He complained.

"Shut up I didn't kiss her!" I yelled and ignored the food in front of me as I slammed my head against the table.

"Eh?!" I heard multiple people exclaim around me. I looked up to see Mira staring down at me with a demonic glint in her eyes.

"Oh no..." I whimper and hid my face on the bar counter again. "Just let me die here..."
