This was originally going to be a Danganronpa AU oneshot but I couldn't figure out how I would do it so after watching some Sherlock I got to this crap XD thank you!

Lucy looked down at the corpse in front of her with a bland look on her face. Being a detective meant seeing dead faces daily and she was pretty much fed up with all the average cases that seemed to always happen.

"It was suicide..." She muttered to the chief in command who looked tired as well. "It's obvious. Poor man drank some poison, died almost instantly."

The chief, Erza, sighed and scribbled something down on a pad of paper. "A shame." She said simply, "I wonder if he meant it."

Lucy shook her head. "There are no signs of struggle... It seems he wanted it to be that way."

Natsu grumbled under his breath as he looked through many police reports. His job was to track wanted people down and unfortunately he wasn't given a job in days.

It's always been Gajeel or Laxus doing all the work while he stayed at HQ and hoped for an opportunity to pop up.

"No... No..." He said as he flipped through the files. "Ah yes!"

"Too late." Mira said, looking over his shoulder. "Rogue and Sting got to that one first."

"Dang it..." Natsu muttered before shoving the file back into the cabinet and slamming the drawer shut. "Why don't I ever get first dibs?"

MiraJane smiled softly, tapping her closed pen up against her cheek. "It's not my fault. Maybe you should talk to The head of your division?"

"I've tried that..." He grumbled. "Didn't work."

Mira stayed silent for a moment before snapping her fingers in accomplishment. "Oh I know! I have a friend who's a detective here. She's been kinda bored lately but there's this new job that came in that she might need some extra help with."

"So? Why me?" He huffed. "I track people down that the detectives tell me to track down.  And usually they're able to get them themselves."

"Yeah but this is different. You'll see." She said with a twinkle in her eyes. "I'll inform her right now."

"W-wait!"

"Too late!" Mira giggled, tapping the enter button on her computer. "I typed it up while you were talking."

Natsu's eyebrow twitched in annoyance before grumbling out a goodbye and escaping towards his office.

"Nice to meet you." Lucy smiled as she shook Natsu's hand, oblivious to the look of awe that he was giving her. "I'm Lucy. Detective Lucy Heartfilia."

"I'm ah... Nats–ah... Pretty...." He rambled. "Uh! No uh I'm Natsu. Natsu Dragon—Dragneel. Natsu Dragneel."

Lucy giggled and looked down at the file in her other hand. "Alright, Natsu Dragneel... Welcome to a day of being a detective."

"And a day with you being a tracker." Natsu added, clearing his throat in the process. "How about we uh... Go over the mission in the car?"

"Sounds good. The car is— what are you doing?"

"Motion sickness pills." He stated before swallowing two pills... Without any water.

"A tracker with motion sickness? Interesting." She grinned before leading him to her car. "This way dragon boy."
