--- Natsu's POV ---

"Wow..." I muttered and looked out the window. It was raining pretty hard and it hasn't quit at all. The stupid storm was going on for more than 24 hours now.

In the house was Lucy, Gray, Juvia, Erza, Jellal, and I. Juvia wouldn't stop blaming her self for the rain. Erza was trying to keep her calm and saying she wasn't the cause.

"Oh... guys look." Jellal spoke up, lifting his phone up to us. "Severe storm warning. Possible tornado."

Juvia squeaked and broke away from Erza and hiding her face in Gray's back. "Juvia didn't mean it!"

"Juvia, your powers can't cause tornados..." Gray rolls his eyes and tries to push her away.

"A-ano...." Lucy mumbled as she looked at Jellal's phone. "We should go to the shelter. We shouldn't risk it."

"I agree." Erza nodded and grabbed Jellal, dragging him down to the cellar without saying anything more.

"Well..." Gray chuckled and stood up from his chair. "Might as well go since people are already down there."

I sigh and started walking down the stairs, with Lucy right behind me.

"Watch your head." She said suddenly, but a little to late as I bonked my forehead on a post. "Sorry."

I gave her a sarcastic smile and headed towards Erza and Jellal who sat against a wall reading a book together.

"How long are we going to be here?" I asked the blonde who stood beside me.

"I'm not sure." She shrugs.

"Then we should go write a diary and sell it after the storm, ten years later."

Lucy flicked my cheek before sitting down on a ping pong table."So funny, Natsu. So funny."

I smile and sit down beside her on the other side of the net. "So... what do you want to do?"

She shook her head and picked up a ping pong ball, throwing it from hand to hand. "We could.... draw, read, play cards, ping pong. pretty much all the stuff you see in this room."

"The only thing I see in this room is boredom." I groan and lay down on my back, my feet dangling over the edge.

"Everyone else found something to do. Look, Gray and Juvia are playing... what is that? Goldfish?" Lucy squinted her eyes as she looked at them. "Yeah. They look happy."

"Then go join them."

"No. Then you'd be alone."

I give her a pout and moved my eyes towards the ping pong ball in her hands before she threw it in my direction. I quickly caught it and looked back up at her.

"Come on. You serve." She grins and slides a paddle over to me. I smirked and stood at my end, watching as she moved to hers.

I bounced the ball on the table and gave her a soft serve to start out with, but she received it aggressively.

"Damn Luce. This isn't the Olympics."

"I didn't hit it that hard, you just weren't ready." She winked and I threw her the ball.

"Then you serve."

Lucy giggled and was about to bounce the ball until there was a loud thunder that flickered the lights. Everyone went silent and stared up at the ceiling.

Gray steadied a lamp that was swinging, clearing his throat. "Its fine, guys. Just go back to what you were doing."

I look back over towards Lucy who was gripping the ping pong ball in her hands, I could tell she had made it dented and unstable.

"Luce." I say, putting down my paddle and walking towards her. "You okay?"

"Huh?" She slowly moved her gaze away from the ceiling, to the ball, and then to my face. "yeah... yeah I'm fine."

I examined her eyes for a moment before brushing a couple strands of hair from her face and grabbing her wrist. "Cmon lets find something to eat."

She soon smiled and followed me as I lead her to the stacks of canned foods.

"Don't eat all of it, Natsu."

I gave her a look and lifted up a can of peaches. "I promise that I'll try not to, okay."

"Try." She snorted and picked up a can opener. "Funny."

I wink and opened the peaches, sitting down against the wall. Lucy grabbed two forks and gave one to me right before sitting down.

"One at a time." She reminded and picked up one peach. "I'll feed it to you so you don't hork it down."

I laugh and opened my mouth as she lifted the fruit to my lips, I did the same to her.

We quickly finished the can and sat in a comfortable silence. that until the room started to shake.

Jellal, whom had fallen asleep on Erza, jumped up and drowsily tried to calm us down though he was the most freaked out.

I couldn't help but blush as Lucy clung onto me. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and and pulled her into a hug. "it's okay." I muttered into her hair and and watched as Gray saved Juvia from being ran over by the ping pong table, that was on wheels.

The shaking stopped and the only person who moved was Erza. She hesitantly opened the door to the upper floor. It had stopped raining but the house was flooded so water poured down the stairs. Fortunately it wasn't so much. It didn't even get past our toes.

"It was an earthquake... I guess it damaged the house so rain got in..." Erza muttered and motioned for us to go up.

I helped Lucy to our feet and we stepped onto the first floor. Pieces of the ceiling had fallen down, exposing the sky, and furniture and glass were scattered everywhere.

Lucy frowned at our surroundings. "Are we going to fix this?"

I shrug and put my arms back around her. "I don't know. might as well find a new place."

"You'll help me?"

"Of course. I'll need a good house to sneak into."

Lucy laughs and gives me a peck on my cheek, I smile down at her. "Thanks Natsu."

Right before I could give her a kiss back, Gray interrupted by telling us to get a room, and Erza called us love birds.

I blushed and told them to piss off. which they did, as well as Lucy but I wasn't upset. I'll get to her someday, I just know it.
