---Lucy's POV ---
"How exactly did this happen?" I asked as I started over at Natsu, whom was pouting as he glared at Gray and Gajeel as they began to taught him.
"He read a spell that took away his voice and... yeah..." Cana explained briefly, taking a swig of her beer.
"He needs to be put on a leash." I sweat dropped and watched as he attempted to curse at his rivals, but when he opened his mouth, nothing came out.
"He can even groan..." Levy noted as Natsu sank down in his seat and slammed his forehead against the wooden table.
"Not even laugh?" I ask with disbelief looking back and forth from Cana and Levy.
"He doesn't even make a noise when he sneezes." MiraJane said from behind the counter, shaking her head.
"How is he going to make another one of those speeches about friendship?" Cana jokes. Unfortunately, he noticed and started stomping over to us angrily. But Cana only smirks. "He cant do anything."
Natsu tried to yell at her, but failed of course. So he cracked his knuckles as a threat. Cana just shrugged and turned away from him.
The cursed boy then looked at me and gestured at the drunk as if saying, do you believe this girl?
I giggle and pat his shoulder. "Dont worry, I'm sure Levy is finding a cure for you right now."
We both look over at the bluenette who was reading a book intently next to me.
"Right Levy-chan?"
I received no answer. Slowly, I took a peek of the title of the book to see that she was reading some fiction book about pirates, with some boy with a straw hat on the cover.
A tick mark appeared on Natsu's head as he noticed Freed didn't even acknowledge the problem, as he was busy trying to help Laxus pick a job frantically.
"Levy!" I snapped and she jumped, shutting the book with wide eyes. "You're supposed to be helping Natsu!"
Natsu nodded in support.
"O-Oh I'm sorry. We just all wanted him to be silent for once." She stuttered and avoided eye contact with guilt. "Sorry Natsu, I'll start tomorrow."
I looked over at him to see hurt in his eyes. But it soon turned to anger and he marched to the exit of the guild, pushing Gray out of his way, ignoring the ice mage's insults.
I looked at everyone who overheard the conversation and scoffed. "Some friends."
"Lucy-" Mira tried to speak but the master cut her off.
"Even though you think Natsu is annoying, brats, doesn't mean you should wait until tomorrow. He's your family, so I expect all of you to get to work and fix the curse on him, NOW." He ordered and went back to his saki.
I got up bitterly and walked out of the guild, slamming the doors behind me as I went to search for Natsu.
I expected them to care, like they did when I went invisible. Of course Natsu could get annoying but without his constant talking, I wouldnt even be here. And I'm sure there were a bunch of others back at the guild who weren't smart enough to realize the same about them.
As expected, I found Natsu face first on my bed. Once I entered, he rolled his head over to look at me, but looked away almost immediatly after.
"Hey..." I said, sitting down beside him. "They are working on it now, its alright."
Natsu got up and walked to my desk, picking up a pad of paper and a pencil, writing sloppy words down quickly, as he sat across from me. "They are ass-holes."
