Ellanty Dance - Sophie

"Natsu!! Get away!!! This is a new shirt!!" The celestial mage shrieked as she ran around in the empty train car.

"Argh blegh!" The dragon slayer replied, groggily crawling on the ground to get to his partner. All he wanted was support from her. "Lucy~"

Lucy flattened her back against the wall furthest from him. "You knew it would be a long trip! You should've asked Wendy to-"

"-I know." He whined and smacked his face against the ground. "I forgot to."

Lucy sighed and walked over to him. She shakily moved him to a seat, avoiding his mouth. "just... sleep or something."

"It's not that easy as it looks." he grumbled and looked up at her bitterly.

Lucy looked down at him, with her hands on her hips. "Well then-" the train lurched to a stop. "huh?"

Natsu felt relieved but confused. They weren't anywhere near their destination.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have just reached our final stop. Enjoy your day!" A perky woman said on the speakers.

Natsu grabbed his bag and pulled Lucy off the train. When they looked up at the Vehicle's number, Lucy let out a soft yelp.

"Oh crap, Natsu... We got on the wrong train! When's the correct one?!" She shouted and frantically turned to him.

"Tomorrow evening..." Natsu scoffed, looking up at the bus schedule. "We'll have to stay the night somewhere... where ever we are..."

"And I guess the job is delayed..." The blonde frowned and shouldered her own bag. "Lets go then..."

Natsu nodded and walked out of the unfamiliar train station, into a small town.

The place was very organized. the building were sorted in a grid like pattern, with houses, shops, and etc., in their own little groups.

"The sign says 'The Town Of Ellanty.'" Lucy mumbled and started walking down the street. There were a few people outside, but it was only a little bit past noon time.

"Would the inn be in the house section, or the shop section?" Natsu pondered, looking around thoughtfully.

"The visitor section!" Lucy said happily and pointed to a homey Inn not too far away from where they were standing.

The two fairy tail wizards ran inside and requested a single room. once they got inside they sighed and fell on each of the two beds.

"It's not dark yet, let's explore this town, eh?" Lucy offered and got up from the bed.

"But I'm comfy." he argued, his words muffled by his pillow.

"Too bad." She shrugged and pulled him-by his scarf- out of his soft bed.

When they got into town, Natsu completely forgot the reason why he didn't want to go in the first place.

Ellanty was beautiful. It's organized streets and blocks made it super easy to get places.

The two passed by street performers and food samplers. Natsu bought Lucy coffee while he pigged out on all the free samples. The chefs obviously didn't like it but they kept their mouths shut.

Lucy sipped at her coffee and smiled happily. "This place is wonderful."

Natsu nodded and pointed towards a specific man, playing a ukulele. "Look look!" He shouted and grabbed her arm, pulling her along so they could hear the music better.

People were dancing to his soft music. Natsu frowned, he was hoping for something more upbeat. "Play something faster!" He yelled, hidden in the crowd. Lucy snapped her head towards him, trying to tell him to shut up.

The man playing ukulele paused before giving a smile in the direction of Natsu.

A woman, next to the man, began tapping on some bongos and creating a nice beat for the next song. Soon, the guy started a tune that made people dance even faster.

"That's more like it." Natsu grinned and grabbed Lucy's hand, "come on!"

"W-wait natsu! I don't know if I should-ah!" Lucy was jerked forward into the middle of the dancing group. She blushed furiously as she realized she was super close to Natsu. and he was just grinning down with her.

Suddenly, someone bumped into both of them, urging the two to join into the dance. It seemed like everyone knew the song and the dance that went along with it. Fortunately, the two wizards caught in easily, dancing along to the ukulele and the drums.

The partners were now laughing as the followed the dance of twirls, jumps, and pivots. and they were having fun.

"It came to a part of the song where the dancers picked up the woman bridal style and spun around in a circle, which made Natsu look at Lucy questionably.

To avoid being outcast, Natsu picked her up easily, and she securely grabbed hold of his scarf. Everyone held their female partner's waist and, again, Natsu followed suit.

And right then, the song ended and everyone dispersed. but Natsu didn't move at all. he kept his hold on Lucy.

"You're such a cutie." Natsu joked, grinning with a slight blush, the same color as his hair.

Lucy blushed pure red, redder than Snow White's Apple. "B-Baka... The song's over."

"I know."

"Then why are you still holding me?"

"Why aren't you strugglin'?"

Lucy bit her lip and looked away. "Lets go back to the inn. it's getting late."

The two wizards made it back to their room. But Natsu carried her there, resulting in a lot of complaints from the celestial spirit mage.

Natsu closed the door behind them, setting Lucy down on her feet.

"I'm gonna take a bath. Don't come in."

"Wait." Natsu interrupted and grabbed hold of her hand once again, pulling her to his body.

"Natsu, let me g-" She began until something cut her off when a pair of warm lips pressed against hers.

Natsu broke away and pushed the stunned Lucy into the bathroom. "Don't take too long, Luce." he said cheerfully, closing the door for her.

Once she was left alone, Lucy fell face first to the ground comically. "wah~" she hummed.

On the other side of the door, sat a rosy haired boy, sitting crossed legged in front of the bathroom.

Honestly, he though that she would jump out to him or something. but she never went out.

The dragon slayer sighed and started to get up, but was halted when the door swung open and the girl tackled him to the ground with a hug. "baka." she said sheepishly and smashed her lips onto his.

"We should dance more often if it's gonna end up like this." Natsu grinned and laughed happily as he held his partner in his arms. "I love you."

"I love you too." Lucy said stubbornly, but smiled as she was given another soft kiss.
