Allies and Foes

"Is it though," Asked a quiet voice.

 She opened herself to find herself in a white padded room. 

"Do you know where we are?" Whispered the voice.

Rea felt herself coughing violently, and the world started to spin around her. The room resembled a padded cell inside an asylum. It looked like it meant to keep her inside, but the windows made it seem like it was keeping someone out.

A safe heaven.

How ironic.

How can a prison, be heaven. 

She blinked, and there was someone there. A girl with purple hair and eyes, tattoos running down her skin. Her chin was on her arm, and she was in this white coat. She looked at Rea with with no expression, and that chilled her even more. 

"YOU-" Rea screamed, lounging at her.

The girl caught her by her wrist with an amused expression, contrasting her previous cold demeanor. 

"That is unnecessary. I only asked a question" She chucked.  

"Why are you here you fucking bitch" Rea shrieked. 

"Relax, I wouldn't be here if you didn't let me in" The girl grinned.

"Why would I let you-" 

"So you know where we are then?" The girl interrupted.

"My conscience, my mind, something like that" She hissed. 

The girl smiled, and got up from her chair. Then she opened a door that wasn't there before, revealing a dark void outside of the room. She sighed, as the darkness tried to seep inside the white enclosure. She slammed the door and sat down on the ground, facing her directly. 

"We don't have much time, I will make this quick. I just want to know something from you"she asked. 

Rea took a deep breath to calm herself down. She looked the woman in her eye and tightened her lips.

"Thank you for momentarily cooperating" She smiled.

"Now what would you do, if the one person you trusted had betrayed you. What would you do, if you learned that they had used you for their own motives. What if your reality isn't as it seems, and there are so much more secrets behind the scene?"

"Why would I believe you?"

You let me into your mind, didn't you? Your own safe haven...even if it seems like a prison. This place was made to protect yourself from what's out there. Don't you ever question it? Why is it, that your subconscious, trusts your sworn enemy. I can promise you one thing, I wouldn't be here if you didn't let me" 

Rea scoffed, before looking away. Her mind analyzed all the possible reasons and scenarios, but she couldn't come up with a plausible answer.

"If that's the case? Why does Adam have access to my mind? Two people on opposite sides..." She hissed.

"Than that means one of us is the deceiver, now the question is who" The figure said tapping her chin thoughtfully.

"It has to be you. Why would I ever trust you" 

The figure stopped smiling, and teleported to in front of her. She snapped her finger, causing streamlines of codes to fill her vision. Her breathing became labored as she choked, causing her to grab her throat in a hurry.

"Watch your mouth, clone...I take that back. You are not her, because there is no way she would be this stupid. There is no way, my-" She cut herself off. 

"Which one am I talking to? I thought you were acting strangely, I thought that Adam merely took away your memory...but it seems he has reprogrammed you entirely. Strange. Let me ask you this, you little brat. What is your name?" The girl hissed.

"Rea, I am Rebecca Kaivo, you bitch" The girl snapped, fighting against her bonds.

"That's not your real name, that's the name of the identity you currently possess, but not your real name. Rebecca is dead, my sister is dead, so who are you. I remember it all" She hissed.

In the next second, Rea felt herself get knocked out. As if someone sucked her into a black abyss.

"I want to speak to Rayne" The purple girl ordered.

Blue code flooded the room, cracking its interior. The girls purple symbol flooded the room and vines covered it. The code flickered, as if unsure which to stay on.

"My lady...you called" Responded a voice.

A girl similar to the first appeared, except her eyes were calmed compared to the first angry pairs. Everything about her was different, she was more composed and less impulsive. 

"What is that" The purple girl said coldly.

"It seems...Adam has done something to me. However I don't remember...That girl seems to be an alter...something her created out of me to replace me."

"Tell me why sister...why hasn't she found out? Shouldn't you rejoin by now? Why are you still separate" 

"It's not the time yet goddess, I think it's better if we let her find out herself. After all, forcing the truth on her will shatter her mind, just like it did with your incarnation, Umi." 

"I see...but what if she becomes an obstacle" The girl stared, watching the blue one in front of her bow.

"She won't...even if this one is petty and immature, I have no doubt she will choose the right side, after all, she's a part of me" Rayne said, smiling as she looked at the goddess.

Umi looked down, assessing her.

"I have a question for thought goddess, why are still keeping secrets from Uzi? Shouldn't you be one by now? She freed and trusted you, why aren't you doing the same?" She asked, confused  at the predicament in front of them. 

The goddess let out a sigh.

"Uzi has no time to linger on the past, she has to focus on the present for both of us. I am doing my best to help her, by gathering our allies. Right now, before the war, I have sent the message to all the chimeras, nephilims, and the others." 

"I see"

"It seems as if my time is up, do make sure that Rea remember herself" 

Rayne nodded before bowing again.

The girl disappeared.

"Where have you been?" Uzi asked.

They were in her mind again, and she spoke to reflection. The reflection smiled and walked to her, dismissing her concerns.

"Umi, stop. I command you to answer me" Uzi said coldly. 

The reflection did and turned around before smiling.

Uzi sighed, rubbing her temple. She walked towards the reflection and placed her hand on her shoulder.

"So that's your name huh. I was getting tired of calling you by my name anyways. Since you clearly had important reasons to leave, I won't push it because I trust you now. But...I do expect you to come clean about this, especially if it's about my family, do we have an understanding" Uzi said, her eyes glowing.

"Understood, just focus on training for now. I will take care of the other things...just some basic house cleaning"
