The four split Eternabeam sprinted towards the four Alolan islands, threatening the survival of all people in Alola.
Who would have thought a simple pokemon battle could lead to the destruction of the entire region? Well, if Ash was the main character, then this would happen. Somehow, all sorts of end-of-the-world or world domination shenanigans would occur wherever Ash was around. This time, it's no different.
Solgaleo was still blocking the "main" Eternabeam: if this beam hit the ocean, it could stir a tsunami and flood most of the Alola region.
Ash gritted his teeth, feeling hopeless as he watched the four split beams heading towards the islands, "He has a million ways to destroy the place, but I only have one way to protect everyone..."
Am I not fit to be the Alola Champion?
"Kahunas, Assemble!" Hala crossed his arms and yelled. The Z-ring on his left wrist glowed, producing some bright yellow energy, which synced with Tapu Koko.
"That's why we stay and protect," Olivia stood next to Hala and crossed her arms just like him. She exchanged eyes with Tapu Lele, ready to fire the Z-move with it.
"No one can threaten Poni Island! Not under my watch!" Hapu activated her Z-ring. Blue water energy charged through the gadget and powered up Tapu Fini.
"Let's do this!" Nanu wasn't particularly interested in this whole ordeal, but when the other Kahunas did the Z-moves, there was no excuse for him to slack off.
"Guardian of Alola!"

Four headless gigantic yellow torsos rose from sea level, as the four Tapu Guardians sat on top of them to act as the "heads". The four giants sprinted towards the beams, crossing their arms to absorb them completely.
"What?" Leon gritted his teeth.
"Ash, we will take care of the islands!" Hala cupped his hands and yelled, "You go and fight with full power!"
"Show him who is boss!" Kukui and his family flew close to Ash and pointed at Ash's Z-ring, before landing next to Hala.
Ash nodded, "Thank you. Leave it to me!"
"Who lets you have family time?" Leon pointed at Ash, as Eternatus's huge claw turned green and extended towards Ash and Solgaleo, "Dragon Claw!"
"Psychic Fang!" Ash yelled.
Solgaleo's teeth grew longer and bit on Eternatus's extended middle finger. Cracks began to show on the scales of Eternatus. But the alien pokemon swiftly flicked its finger, shaking Solgaleo and Ash out of the bite. Ash held tight on Solgaleo, which the latter galloped a few steps in the air to stabilize themselves.
"I cannot lose; or else, everyone in Alola will be in danger. I MUST win!" Ash clenched his fists so hard that his hands began to bleed, "I have to wake Leon up! I have to snap him out of it!"
