Omega wakes in the past after leaving her brothers. She's going to change everything about the future as she knows – but mostly, she's keeping her family safe.
Being on Kamino is as much a nightmare as a blessing. Omega has no idea how she feels about being here, walking the halls of the lab she tried to leave behind forever. But... it's back here. It's both good and a nightmare. Maybe it's something of a good nightmare? Is that a thing?
She tries to pass as a trainer, using that to sneak herself through the place.
She doesn't actually really know what her plans here are. Just... to get her siblings off-world. She thinks about Echo, and her heart aches. He never got to grow up with Fives. He should have – they were twins, but they were separated.
She remembers hearing he'd been twitchy when he learned Wrecker and Crosshair never were. Then he was the only person who understood Wrecker's loss. But Wrecker got his twin back. Echo never did.
She's probably losing her mind. Stealing her brothers from Kamino? Really? But she's not risking them leading lives as soldiers and then dying.
She still remembers the underground tunnels. It's hard not to think about the past when she uses them again, rigs them to carry her up into the lab. That lab.
Nala Se is gone. Which is good. Omega doesn't think she can handle seeing her right now, so she quickly sets about starting up the place and opening the information, trying to do a fast run search for her brother's numbers and everything she can find about them. Emerie, too, because her sister deserved a life with all of them.
Something she never got to have. She should've.
It's not hard to find. Emerie, already transferred off world, and that alone makes her heart ache. Her brothers are... in a nearby training room.
And Echo, Domino Squad, are scattered all throughout Kamino. Echo and Fives are still together in training. Should be easy enough to find. All in the same facility right now, strangely enough.
It's weird.
They were so close for so long, and they never even knew it.
She's still working when the door opens and jumps back with a gasp, grabbing the datapad and ripping it from the hold, ducking behind the console. She crouches there, panting, but the familiar beeping of a droid is...
Then, "who are you?"
Nala Se.
Nala Se. Omega hasn't seen her in years. She died before, but she died again. She accepted it. But back now, she's alive.
It's stupid, but Omega trusts her, Slowly, she pulls herself to her feet. "Nala Se," she whispers, suddenly blinking back tears. She might have done many things, sealed the fate of Kmaino, but she still let Omega go. She hurt the Empire more than any of her brothers ever have. She... she helped save them in the end, and that's the part that counts for it. Not how she kept her from her family for years. It's how she let her find them in the end.
But she needs to talk fast. "This is going to sound crazy," Omega offers, raising her hands. "But I'm Omega."
"How can this be?"
"I..." She scrambles to come up with a plausible excuse. "Don't sound the alarms. I can prove it," she says, extending her arm. "AZI, run a blood sample, but don't put it in the system. I a double of, well, me. I came here from the future. I'm in the past. I know why I'm important to your experiments. I got to Kamino through the underwater tunnels. Your private platform. But I need to get off undetected."
