“Victoria” A voice called through the endless white room. This time, there was no window, and no way to get out.
“What?” I yelled back. “For goodness’ sake, what?”
“Follow my voice”
“I don’t know where your voice is coming from”
“Let your gut guide you”
“My gut is hungry”
“Close your eyes and you will see”
“That doesn’t make any sense!”
“Only blindness can truly open eyes”
“I’m not a riddle person. I don’t get them”
“Close your eyes and you will see”
“Fine!” I yelled and closed my eyes. I screamed and jumped back. I was suddenly at Hogwarts in a white shaded version of a random hallway.
“-And Victoria…I love you”
I spun around to the other side of the Hallway and gasped. There I stood; facing me and Cedric facing each other with Cho Chang facing them…or us…I’m confused.
“I love you too”
I remember this
“One of my fondest memories” A hand was put on my shoulder as the scene faded away. I turned to the person whose hand it was and gasped again. I nearly fainted at the sight of Cedric smiling to me. Where am I?
“Am I dead?” I asked
“Far from it”
“Then why are you here? Why am I here?”
“I come in the time you need me”
“What?”
“Take a walk with me”
“Where? We’re in an endless white room”
“Endless? So we can just keep walking then. Come on” He held his hand out for me. I was hesitant at first but took it anyways
“This is the weirdest dream ever” I muttered
“Aren’t you glad to see me?”
“Of course I am”
“Then why do you seem so confused?”
“Well…you’re dead!”
“So?”
“Why are you here?”
“I’ve come to help you with a little problem of yours”
“I don’t have a problem” I laughed
“So hating Harry is just a faze then?”
“That’s why you’re here” I stopped and let go of his hand
“Yes. Victoria, it isn’t healthy to be like this. You’re shutting everyone out because you’re so angry” Cedric said seriously
“I am not!”
“Vic-“
“No! I’m sick of everyone telling me I need to calm down! I’M NOT ANGRY!” I yelled furiously. Cedric looked at me knowingly as I realized…I’m yelling furiously. “Oh”
“Exactly”
“Why am I like this? I’m always like this” I asked quietly
“I couldn’t tell you if I knew, but I can tell you that the first step is letting go. Victoria, I won’t be coming back to life and this is the last time you’ll be seeing me until…well…you pass” Cedric said
