We sat for a while in silence but then I started off a conversation. We were about to reach King’s Cross station in London. It was the holidays now.

“So you’re going to just pretend that nothing really is going on between us then?” I asked

“Pretty much” Ron nodded

“Alright, that’s better than nothing” I shrugged just as the train stopped. We all stood and got our luggage, following the line. Once we were out of the train, I immediately hugged them all.

“What was that for?” Harry asked

“It’s my way of saying I’m sorry. I know I’ve been a pretty difficult mess this year and you all shouldn’t have to deal with it” I said honestly

“Awe! It’s ok!” Hermione said and we hugged again. I caught sight of Narcissa staring at me so I decided it should be time to go.

“I’ll see you all when we get back” I smiled and walked away towards Narcissa.

“Hello, Victoria” She said. I noticed that she looked very tired and pale, same as Draco

“Hello”

Little did I know that this little hello would be the start of it a roller coaster

I understood now how they felt as I stared at myself in the mirror. I was so incredibly pale compared to my original state of skin coloring and I looked like I haven’t slept for days. That though is probably because I haven’t.

I was told that I would be attending a Death Eater meeting and I’ve been worrying about it ever since. I haven’t stopped thinking about it and today was the day…or night.

I was wearing a black gown with silver beads that marked the ending of the form fitting side and the start of the poufy black cloud that was from my waist to the floor. I wasn’t impressed at my father’s choice for one, the color, but also because the breast area seemed to act as push up bra. Something Draco noticed first off as a good thing when he walked into the room.

“Keep your mouth closed” I said, putting my hands on my hips

“I didn’t pick out the dress” He held his hands up in defense as he walked towards me, looking at me shamelessly.

“I know but you can do the decency of not looking at me like I’m a steak and you haven’t eaten for days” I said

“Now you’ve just made me hungry for steak” Draco said, pressing his forehead to mine. I smiled though I was trying not to so I bit my lip to try and stop but that only made Draco look at me even more longingly with a hint of mischief.

“We aren’t having steak tonight” I said, biting my lip now to make him look at me hungrily. It really wasn’t hard to do

“Then I’ll just have to have something else” He moved his forehead from mine to get closer.

“Anything you’d like” I whispered, putting my hand on his chest and rubbing it up and down

“I think-“

“What are you two doing up here?” Narcissa came into the room. “Draco, hands off! You’re going to ruin her hair and makeup!” She said and was right. My braided bun was nearly out.

Draco stepped away from me and I felt the tension between us that we were about to release. This would be an odd night.

Draco and I went down the stairs together. He went into the dining room where all the other Death Eaters while I waited out of sight to make my entrance. I listened to my father’s cold, raspy voice give his small speech and then my introduction.
