"We wanted to write a couple more verses!" Called Draco to Harry. I stomped towards him from behind. I was fuming angry from him making up that stupid song to distract Ron. My fists were clenched so hard, my knuckles were turning white.

You don't know what you're doing! You aren't actually going to do this, are you?

I agree. Normally I'd want you to not give into him but this is just taking it too far!

Shut up! I can do what I want!

I went up to Draco, my breath heavy with fury. I lightly tapped his shoulder and he turned to me. He smirked when he saw me which in turn only made me angrier. I took my clenched fist and smashed it into his jaw, making him fall to the ground.

I'll admit, it really hurt my fist but I ignored it. I, instead, grabbed his collar so he could look me straight in the eye and glared with all of the power I had.

"You. Foul. Evil. Little-"

"Victoria, no, it isn't worth it" Ron called

My hitched and angry breaths continued but I let go, making Draco smirk widely and continue to call out to Harry about his song. I held Ron back when Draco went on about his family, but I wasn't quick enough to catch George.

Everything happened rather fast, and before I knew it, Draco's nose was all bloody and he was curled up on the ground while George had a swollen lip. All the while, Fred was being held back still. I was shocked at the scene, and a little scared at the fact that Madam Hooch had seen the whole thing.

She sent Harry and George back to the castle and to Professor McGonagall. I wanted to say something to help, but there was an awful lump in my throat that acted as a cork to bottle my immense anger towards everything.

I turned back to Ron, but he was nowhere to be found. He had already left me alone.

Suddenly, I felt my eyes burn. The sensation was partly from unrecognizable sadness and pure hatred for the world. Though these were both strong feelings, sadness washed over me and snow began to fall and swirl around.

I then noticed that everyone had gone...

Except for one person.

She just stood there. I could see the emotions stir around in her eyes. It went from anger to sadness as her eyes watered. Everyone had left now and we were alone. She suddenly looked back to me with pained eyes. She tried to hide her face.

"What are you doing here?" She asked quietly

"Waiting for you" I said automatically. I then realized how stupid that sounded but before I had a chance to correct it, she spoke again.

"Why?"

I couldn't come up with a good answer so I tried something else

"What's wrong?" I asked and she turned her back to me. I knew she was crying but I didn't know how to go about it.

"I'm fine" She whispered. The snow crunched under my foot as I stepped towards her. She stiffened suddenly.

"No you aren't"

She didn't answer

"Victoria, if you just tell me what's wrong, then I can help-"

"I don't need your help!" She sneered as she turned back to me. I got a strange feeling in my chest when I saw her tear stained face. When I didn't respond, she walked off towards the castle.

I gave it a few minutes before I did the same.

I understood now why I could see these horses or threshals and why Harry had only begun to see them this year. As Hermione had explained, you can only see them when you have seen death. My mind went to a person I haven't thought about for years.
