Rebel's P.O.V
My eyes slowly opened, releasing a wave of a headache as the morning light shined in my eyes. I groaned, throwing my blanket over my head. Last night was awful. The booze, the weed, the dares.
The person behind me.
I didn't talk much after we left the school. I was scared of being bombarded by questions if I was to go back to the campfire, so I asked Levi to take me home. He didn't argue with me, and Eren aplogized and hugged me another twenty times before we left. At first I was still royally pissed, but after a while I caved and accepted his apologies. Even though we was pretty hammered, I think he truly felt pretty bad for scaring the daylights out of me.
And I was scared. It was like being in a horror video game, or a nightmare. And I certainly was haunted by nightmares last night.
A loud bang knocked at my front door, making me clutch my chest and gasp. I let out a groan, my jerky reactions making my sensitive head throb. I rolled out of my bed and shifted my feet to the front door. I sighed and opened it, Levi standing there. He's eyes widened as they took me in, his hands in his pockets.
"You look like hell." He commented, then his eyes traveled down my body. "Where are your pants?"
I whooped and slammed the door shut. I had completely forgotten that after Levi dropped me off, I threw off my dress and tights so I remained comfortably in a tank top and my underwear when I fell on my bed and passed out. I was so focused on my headache and opening the door I had forgotten what I was even wearing.
Now just four seconds ago I stood before Levi in just a black tank top and my tie-dye underwear with a cartoon turtle printed on the crotch.
Classic Rebel.
"Wow. That was weird." I said to Levi behind the door. "I'm going to get some more clothes on. I'll be right back."
"Yeah, that would be great." Agreed Levi, and I could imagine him face palming on the other side of the door. I walked to my room, blushing more and more as I reply what had just happened in my head. A boy. Just saw me in my undies. Not even sexy undies, it was the kind you buy in a package from Wal-Mart.
It has a cartoon turtle on it. Christ, Levi will never think I'm sexy, my mind yelled at me.
Wait.
Since when do I care if Levi thinks I'm sexy?
"Since, like, never." I said to myself, pulling up a pair of black leggings over my legs. I put on a t-shirt that said Some crappy band printed on the front and returned to the door. Before opening it I looked at the hallway mirror and froze. Dark circles formed under my eyes, and my hair was a wild mess of curls. An angry red zit was even emerging from my unwashed chin.
My body internally screamed as I stood before the mirror.
"Rebel? Are you going to open the door or what?" Levi asked, clearly annoyed by now. I quickly put my hair in a low ponytail, just enough so it wasn't so messy but hopefully-maybe-not really cute. I opened the door, praying he wouldn't spot out any of the horrors on my face.
"What are you even doing here?" I asked.
"We have cello practice, remember? By the way, something died on your chin."
"I just woke up." I groaned. "You get to see me and all of my glory."
"Yeah, it's a real honor." He snorted, pulling his cello wrapped in a case from its leaning posture on the wall and dragged it in with him. I closed the door when he walked in, rolling my eyes. My head was still pounding, and and before I could go to the kitchen, Levi handed me something.
