"Hyung?"

The voice echoed in the void.

"Kim Seokjin."

Another voice echoed through the void. Namjoon's head snapped in the direction of the voice, but there was nothing.

"Your Majesty."

Namjoon turned his head. He saw himself bowing to Seokjin. The scene was from before they had been arrested.

"I am very grateful that I got to meet you, your majesty." Namjoon smiled slightly at Seokjin.

Seokjin smirked, "I am curious about your innovation, too."

Namjoon remembered the first time he met Seokjin. He had disguised himself as a merchant. The meeting went smoothly, however, Seokjin looked suspicious. The court was filled with all kinds of people, but Seokjin's eyes lingered on his group. After the meeting, Namjoon fell sick, and the entire team was arrested.

"KIM SEOKJIN!"

Namjoon looked at another voice. It was more of a scream. There was a court setting. Seokjin was sitting on the throne with the crown on. Namjoon knew that scene very well. It was well printed in his brain.

"Kill them all."

The Namjoon in his imagination pushed one of the guards, grabbed their gun and fired a few shots at Seokjin.

"Hyung!" Namjoon ran towards Seokjin. He couldn't understand what was happening. He had never shot Seokjin. Of course, he had thought about it multiple times. He took Seokjin in his arms, his vision blurry, and started screaming at the imaginary Namjoon, "Why would you do that?"

He looked at the imaginary Namjoon, "How could you do this?"

"Didn't you want to kill him?"

"That was before I knew him." Namjoon hugged the body tighter, "But now, I can die in order to keep him safe." He was a little shaken when he felt the body disintegrate into dust. "Hyung? What the-" He turned around only to find everything around him dark and empty. He tried to understand everything around him.

You are really cruel, Kim Namjoon.

Namjoon looked around, "Hyung?"

So just wake up for me. Please.

Namjoon started panicking. He could hear Seokjin talk to him vaguely, but there was nothing other than that. As his breath started getting shallow, his head started spinning. There was a bright light in front of him that just blurred his vision. He closed his eyes to escape the brightness. When he tried to open his eyes again, the brightness was still there, but he was slowly getting used to it. As his vision adapted, he realized that everything he saw was a dream. He quickly figured out that he was in a hospital. He tried to move only to grunt in pain.

He was still a bit fuzzy when he realized that people were running around him.

"Contact the palace."

"Get the chart."

"The vitals are stable."

Namjoon narrowed his eyes to make sense of everything going on around him.

A person came into focus, "Namjoon-shi?"

Namjoon nodded a little, "Yeah."

"Good." The man smiled, "I am your doctor, Song Binwoo. How are you feeling?"

"Hazy," Namjoon replied.

"Any discomfort in any part?"

Namjoon shook his head.
