Chapter 18

I wake up and hour later, feeling really recharged to my surprise. I carefully get out of bed, and open the door, before sneaking downstairs. I can hear the twins crying, and I walk downstairs a lot faster than before, mothering instincts. "Oh thank god! They won't stop crying!"Rosalie screeches. I laugh, and take them both into my arms. "Shh, Shh." I repeat over and over, bouncing gently. They stop crying, and it is really quiet except for Emmet watching football. "You actually are a miracle worker. We tried that for like 30 minutes." Rosalie says, falling back gracefully onto the couch. "lol I'm supermom." I say laughing. "Gees! Bella and Edward haven't even come by today. They must be really busy!" Emmet says wiggling his eyebrows. "Shhh!" I say pointing to Emily, as she watches the game. "What are they doing?" Emily asks, her brow furrowing in confusion. "Painting pictures!" I says quickly, not wanting Emmet to actually tell her. "Oh.. Can I paint?" She asks. Emmet laughs and I crack a smile too. "Maybe later." I say winking at her and she smiles, walking over to me. "Can I hold J and Johnny?" She asks, making puppy dog eyes. "Sure!" I say laughing. She sits next to me on the couch, and I put pillows on both sides of her. Then I put Jaden in her right arm, and John in her other. She beams, and whispers things in their ears that I don't bother to listen to. Alice takes a picture, and I roll my eyes. "What?! You'll want these when they are older." Alice says, trying to defend her photo taking obsession. "Whatever you say." I say smirking. "What ever! Can we give them a bath? Please!!! It will be so cute!" She begs. "After dinner! We have to get them on a schedule!" I says, and Rose nods in agreement. "Okay that's cool. Now give me my boy! I'm teaching him about football." Emmet says, snatching my baby John away. I roll my eyes, and take Jaden into my arms. "Momma, where's daddy!" Emily asks. "With Jacob and the pack somewhere." I says shrugging and she nods. "Mom, why don't I get to be something cool. Everyone is either a vampire or wolf or both." She says, pouting. "You, are cool! Your the coolest! Who else here is a sailor, princess, and spy?" I say, exaggerating the who else. She giggles, and says," yeah, I'm way cooler then Emmy bear." She says, and emmet scoffs. "Think what you want lil Em." He says, sticking his tongue out like he's three, and going back to telling John how the game works. John's big eyes are locked on the tv, almost like he understands. "Ah!" I shout in realization. "What?" Alice asks, looking concerned. "Oh nothing bad! I just remembered that I can use my powers to see what the twins are!" I say, and lock my eyes with Jaden's. She looks straight into mine, and a second later I know. "Jaden is mostly vampire, but she can shift into a wolf is she really wants to." I say, and Jaden smiles. "Why is she smiling? Rosalie asks. "She likes that we know." I say, reading her mind. "Okay John, let's see." I say. I zone in on John, and find out. "He's the same. Mostly vampire, a bit wolf." I says amazed. "When did our daughter get so many kids?!" My dad exclaims, taking in the scene that is Emily dancing around the room, Emmet teaching John football, and Jaden still smiling at me, wanting me to keep taking to her in her head. "Since I had twins yesterday." I say, laughing. "Right." He says, and Emmet laughs, thinking something dirty about why Dad forgot. "Emmet. I don't want that thought in my head." I say fake gagging, and he laughs. Dad blushes, and mom looks confused. "You know that arm wrestle deal? That doesn't apply to his mind." I say, shivering at his thoughts. She growls, and Emmet laughs. "Where's Nessie?" Mom says, sitting down on the couch. "Upstairs sleeping while she can." I say. "Your twins are being good?" She asks, stroking Jaden's arm. "They are now!" I say wiggling my eyebrows at Jaden and she giggles. Everyone freezes, and takes in her laugh. Spoiler alert, it's adorable! Alice takes a picture, snapping everyone out of their trance. "That, was priceless!" Alice says, laughing at the picture. "Carlisle!" Renesmee yells from upstairs. Everyone runs upstairs, and I grab Emily before doing the same. "Oh my god!" I say, shocked. Alexandra looks at least 2! "What happened!" She screeches as Carlisle checks out Alex. "I guess she is like you and Alexa! She is half vampire half human!" He says, and smiles. "Hi mom!" Alexandra says in her new toddler voice. Everyone gasps, and she smiles. "You don't do this to, do you?" I ask John and Jaden, and they both answer no in their minds. "Woah." Dad says, probably reading their minds. "Oh yeah, I can talk to them in their minds." I say casually, and everyone looks at me like I'm the most powerful vampire in the world. "You kind of are." Dad says and I laugh. Everyone looks around awkwardly, not being I our conversation. "Oh yeah sorry, I said she is the most powerful vampire in the world." Dad says, and they nod casually. "Wait so what are J&J?" Nessie asks. "Mostly Vampire. Part wolf. They say that they grow at a pretty much normal rate." I say. "No fair!" Nessie says, and I laugh. "No fair!" Alex repeats, learning new words. I laugh, along with everyone else. "Okay, dinner time for the humans." Esme says, running downstairs. I laughs, and run downstairs with Em on my back, and the twins in my arms. Esme cooked a huge meal, which is weird because only me, Ness, and Alex eat that. Anyways after that Rosalie drags me to the bath. I bathe the twins, and Emily, with Alice, and Rose bathes Alex with Nessie. Now all the kids are fed, bathed, and full of energy, except for the twins, they are just awake, talking to each other in their minds. Jake and Seth won't be home for a few days, so my kids and I are staying at the main house. I guess that today was a good day. It all led into this night, where the whole family in together, watching a movie, and Emily shares her dolls with her new best friend/cousin. It really cute.
