17 years later:
Ever since I moved In with Jaden, I have never been happier. She is like the mother, that actually gave me love. My family constantly tries to find me, and they act as if they love me. Maybe they do, and I intend to see them eventually. Though they didn't love me then, I always loved them, deep within. "Alexa!" Jaden yells. "What?" I say. "It's the third time your parents have called today!" I groan and walk downstairs. "Why have they called so many times? Did something happen?" I ask. She shrugs and hands me the ringing phone. I push the talk button and say,"Hello?" "Alexa? Is that you?" My sister calls into the phone. I roll my eyes, no duh dumbo. Who else would it be, I think to myself. "Yes, this is Alexa." "Oh Alexa! I have news! I am marrying Jacob!" "Your marrying the dog?!" I screech, earning laughs from the back ground. "Don't call him that! But yes, I am. And I would like you to come. If you would like." Crap. I really hate all of them, but Jaden had told me so many times, that I need to forgive them. I bite my bottom lip, and say," Sure." I know it's not much, but it's all I can manage to choke out. "Ah! This is great! I never thought you would say yes! Emmet owes me ten bucks!" I sigh at the mention of my family. I miss them, as much as I hate to admit it, I do. "Okay, so the wedding is in three weeks, at the house. Come on Monday. The wedding is Tuesday afternoon." "Okay Renesmee, see you then." I say before hanging up. I put the phone up, and run to Jaden, who is outside with her new husband. "What do I do! I can't do this! I have no good memories there, except for being born!" I half scream, and half panic. "Alexa! You can do it. Jack and I will be in Mexico, but you can call whenever you need to talk to someone! We love you, and they will too." Jaden coos into my ear, soothing my hair. I nod, and sniffle. She wipes away my tears, and I stand up. "I'm gonna go for a walk. I need to clear my head, you know, think through what I'm doing." I tell her, before giving her a hug, and opening the back gate. I walk down the path, coated in newly fallen snow. I kick the snow, and say to no one in particular, "I'm a moron! I can't do this." That's when I hear a cry. And smell blood. Holy crap, someone is bleeding, a lot. I run as fast as I can, and use all of the control I have. I turn the corner of the park, and see a little girl, no older then two, crying in the snow. She has bruises all over her fair skin, and her blood has stained her brown hair red. I run over and look at her wounds up and down, before pulling her into her arms, and running into a hidden corner of the park. I focus on her injuries, and carefully place my hands on her wounds. Then I close my eyes, and think of her being healed. Then I open my eyes, and she is perfectly fine, except for some mild bruises, and swelling. I have three powers, 1:healing 2:moving things with my mind 3:copy-catting. I scoop up the little girl, and snuggle her close to me, trying to warm her up. She is wearing ripped up clothes, and looks malnourished. Abused, I believe. I sigh, and take this little girl that I have instantly fallen in love with, back to my guest house, on Jaden's property. Then I tuck the still sleeping girl into my bed, and wait for her awakening.
