Matthew was downstairs in the kitchen making breakfast as usual, humming a song he heard on the radio a few days back. Flipping the pancake with ease he put it on the plate that was on the counter next to him. Going to put more batter into the pan he heard a tired groan from behind him, smiling softly he turned around.
"Good morning Gilbert." Matthew said, looking up at his boyfriend, he gasped quietly then lightly chuckling to himself.
"What? What's so funny?" Gilbert asked him, stumbling, from just have waking up, he went over to Matthew. Matthew couldn't hold it in anymore and laughed, his cheeks going red and the corners of his eyes tearing up a little. Gilbert looked at Matthew worriedly.
"Seriously what's so funny?" He asked again, composing himself after a fit of laughter Matthew strood up straight and wiped away the tears from his eyes.
"Go look in the mirror Gil." Matthew said, slightly nudging him to the bathroom, confused still Gilbert went to the bathroom anyway and looked in the mirror.
"Oh...I see now." Gilbert said to himself, his hair was in all directions, some sticking to his forehead and the rest in a whirlwind. Gilbert tried to flatten it down but it kept sticking right back up, sighing and chuckling lightly he went back into the kitchen.
"Yeah I know I look like I just got trampled by a moose." Gilbert said, grumbling a little as he shoved a pancake into his mouth. Matthew smiled some, feeling bad for laughing at him, he astood up and went over to him and hugged him,resting his head on Gilbert's.
"I'm sorry Gil I didn't mean to make you feel bad." Matthew said, kissing his cheek making the albino blush.
"It's alright Mattie." Gilbert said, smiling and pulling Matthew into his lap, making the Canadian blush madly.
"Still love me?" Matthew asked.
"Some days." Gilbert said, earning a light punch on the arm, he laughed a little and pecked Matthews lips quickly.
"I don't think I'll ever not love you." Gilbert said, holding Matthew close, going back to eating pancakes with him.
