He was confused, every time she passes him or he passes her he pauses, his heart beating rapidly, a blush rising to his cheeks. He didn't understand what he was feeling, he never felt this way before, emotions clouding his mind as he thought it over...the feeling was different, wasn't envy, nor lust...couldn't be..could it? No, it's just a feeling, nothing more nothing less. He couldn't possibly feel this way about her of all people! Her mind was already set on who she loved, she wouldn't spare him a glance...
She was confused, her palms getting sweaty whenever she passed him, or even when he smiled at her when they passed each other. She couldn't possibly be falling for him of all people! She loved her brother, more than anything, but she knew he would never return the feelings back... Maybe just maybe...no, it wouldn't work, everyone is scared of her, she could never think of someone falling for her...
It was the first meeting of December, the snow was already falling in large clumps gathering onto the unsalted roads, it was a beautiful sight to see, well that is what Belarus thought. She always loved the snow, watching it fall without a care in the world. On the days when the snow piled high she wished for nothing more than to run outside and be a child again, building snowmen and making snow angels as the snow flakes fell unto her face, melting under the warmness of her skin. Sighing quietly she removed her gaze from the window and back to the meeting, a bored expression on her face as she watched the countries, once again, fight like children. she did a look over of all the countries that were there, England and France were fighting, America was laughing loudly as China tried to shut up the two bickering countries. Her eyes fell onto Prussia, the way his hair was tosseld like he just woke up, his eyes that held that mischievous intentions that she wanted to know what they were. Sighing quietly once again she stared down at her lap, fiddling with the apron of her dress, daydreaming of things that will never happen.
Prussia was lounged in the chair, his gaze was set upon the doors of the meeting room, no he wasn't waiting for anyone, he was simply staring to pass the time. Bored with nothing to do he looked around the meeting table, his gaze fell upon Belarus, her hair always brushed neatly and her eyes filled with loneliness that he wanted to cure. Thinking of how he should talk to her he droned on her and only her, daydreaming of the ways that he can talk to her without looking like a fool.
The meeting finally ended and the counties hurriedly rushed out not wanting to be on the presence of each other, Prussia walked with France and Spain, talking about plans to do later in the day. Prussia was busy in his own world to hear what France was saying until he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Mon Ami, are you feeling alright?" France asked him, a worried expression on his face.
"Ja..just thinking that's all." He replied.
"About what if you don't mind me asking?" France asked, removing his hand from there Prussian's shoulder. Should he really tell him? He is his best friend, always has been there for him, through thick and thin. Sighing and running a hand through his hair, sooner or later he would have to tell them.
"Thinking about a girl." Prussia said, France's eyes went wide in wonder.
"A girl? You have a crush on this girl?" France asked once again, Prussia nodded, a blush coming onto his cheeks. France smiled and hugged his friend tightly, Prussia patted his back and France let go, the smile never leaving his face.
"So, who is she?" France asked.
"Belarus." Prussia said and France's smile fell slightly and his skin paled lightly.
"Belarus as in obsessed with older brother Belarus?" France asked, nervous now.
"Ja." Prussia said, smiling some. "Everything about her is perfect and beautiful, the way she smiles ever so slightly when she thinks nobody is looking, or how her eyes shine with happiness when talking with Hungary or Taiwan. The loneliness in her eyes is what I always see, I want to be the person to take that away, to show her that not everything and everyone is terrible." Prussia contuined.
"Mon Ami.." France said, never has he ever head Prussia talk about someone like that..Belarus was walking her way home, shivering lightly she pulled her coat tighter around herself, wanting to get home and curl up in her blankets and watch a movie. Suddenly a hand placed itself on her shoulder and she immediately spun around, knife in hand, her glare harsh.
"What do you wa-" she stopped and stared up at Prussia, her throat going dry she closed her mouth and looked away.
"Hallo Belarus." Prussia said, a small smile on his lip and a blush creeping its way onto his cheeks.
"Hello." She said, her voice coming back to her.
"What are you doing tomorrow?" He asked.
"Nothing, why do you ask?" She asked him back, he rubbed the back of his neck and blushed more.
"Would..... Would you like to go see a movie?" He asked, his face an explosion of red now. She froze, her mind no working, her mouth not forming words.
"I understand if yo-"
"No! I mean don't say that...I would like that, a lot actually." Belarus said, a slight blush on her cheeks as she finished her sentence. Prussia smiled brightly and hugged her tightly, she tensed up but slowly hugged bavck, a smile worming its way onto her lips. He pulled back and wrote down his phone number on her hand and placed a kiss on her cheek.
"See you tomorrow Belarus." Prussia said and walked away, back home. Belarus smiled down at the number and contuined walking home, her eyes shinning with glee..Hope you guys enjoyed, sorry if it sucks
