Clydea, understanding Clyde's needs, retrieved his iPad and called Roxanne. Roxanne, being the supportive girlfriend that she was, rushed to the school to be by Clyde's side.
Together, Clydea, Roxanne, and Principal Alfred took Clyde to see Grandfather Reeves. As they approached his house, Clyde's tears began to slow, knowing that his beloved grandfather would help make everything better.
Reeves welcomed them inside, instantly wrapping his arms around Clyde and giving him a big hug. "My sweet boy," he said, "what's happened?" Clyde started to tell the story, using a combination of signs and his iPad.
Reeves, outraged by the neglect Clyde had experienced, promised that he would ensure Clyde was properly cared for. He thanked Clydea, Roxanne, and Principal Alfred for their quick thinking and support, and vowed to be there for his grandson whenever he needed him.
