Dr. Guy could see the longing in Clyde's eyes and knew that he needed to see Roxanne. He quickly excused himself and went to find her in the waiting room.
When Roxanne saw Dr. Guy approaching, she immediately stood up and asked anxiously, "How is Clyde? Is everything okay?"
Dr. Guy smiled reassuringly. "The surgery went well, Roxanne, but Clyde is feeling a little overwhelmed right now. He really wants to see you."
Roxanne's face lit up with relief and joy. "Of course! I'll go to him right now," she said, already heading towards the recovery room.
When Roxanne arrived at Clyde's bedside, he immediately reached out for her hand. "Roxanne," he said, his voice choked with emotion. "I'm so glad you're here."
Roxanne smiled and squeezed his hand tightly. "I'm here for you, Clyde," she said, her voice filled with love and compassion. "And I'm not going anywhere."
