Just as Clyde was about to be prepped for surgery, the door to the operating room opened, and Dr. Guy walked in. He had heard about Clyde's situation from Susan and had come to offer his support.
Dr. Guy was a well-respected and experienced dentist who had a reputation for putting his patients at ease. He immediately approached Clyde's bedside and smiled warmly.
"Hey, Clyde. I know this must be scary for you, but I want you to know that you're in good hands. I'll do everything I can to make sure the surgery goes smoothly and that you're as comfortable as possible."
Clyde felt a sense of relief wash over him as he listened to Dr. Guy's reassuring words. With Anita on one side and Dr. Guy on the other, he felt like he was surrounded by people who genuinely cared about his well-being.
Finally, feeling more confident and at peace, Clyde allowed the medical team to begin preparing him for surgery.
