Each of the Elemental Masters – including Garmadon – sit in a tense silence. Jay, whose ankle was broken thanks to the events from the previous day. They were informed about Rouge currently being out of the Tournament, although no one knew why, but the Ninja had their suspicions. Jay looked up, seeing that someone was staring at him.
"What are you looking at, Zippy?" Jay – now with a bandaged leg – asked the 'Zippy' across from him which was actually the Master of Speed.
"The next one out of the Tournament." Griffin stated confidently, leaning back casually as if they weren't in a tight plane which at any moment could lead to an all out brawl.
The sheer confidence took Jay by surprise, the glare he had on his face falling into clear nervousness. "Uh, heh..."
Not that far from the duo, Kai was glaring daggers at Shade – Master of Shadow – who returned the stare with a glare of his own. "Why so scared to show us your back, Shadow?" He asked in a growl. "Worried we're gonna find a tattoo and know you're working for Chen?"
Shade sneered at Kai, his hand twitching slightly. It was clear he wanted to sock the Master of Fire in the face, but he held himself back from doing so. Instead, he settled on glaring at the ninja. "I hope this next fight is between you and me, because I'm gonna put you on your back."
Garmadon quietly observed everyone while Lloyd sat next to him. After hearing Shade's words, he couldn't help but remark about the situation. "Tensions are high."
Lloyd nodded as his gaze turned to the nearby window, seeing that they were above the clouds and the island below seemingly smaller than it actually is. "Yeah, not as high as we are now. Can hardly see the island from up here."
On another seat, Neuro – Master of Mind – shifts uncomfortably, his gaze darting to the window and back. Then, suddenly, he stood up, catching everyone's attention. "I've had enough of this. I can't stand heights. Where's Chen?" He approached the door to where the pilot's compartment was located.
It hissed open, but Neuro froze when he realized that nobody was flying the blimp they were in. Everyone stood up curiously, and stared in surprise once they found what the Master of the Mind discovered. The screen on the radar then glitched, and Chen's face – which was slightly bandaged – appeared on screen.
"How do I know if this thing's on? Oh, oh, oh, I see the light." Someone whispered to Chen off screen, making his attention turn to them. "Oh, oh, I'm on? Right now?" He faced the camera, and cleared his throat. "Hello, final seven. I see you are all eager for the tournament to commence so one of you can win my Staff of Elements. Instead of fighting for a Jadeblade, today you will be fighting for something different."
