Loud chanting echoed throughout the chamber far underground and where Karlof's Metal was first stolen so many days prior. The place was alight with flames, truly appearing like a place a cult would sacrifice someone of the face of their God.

"Bring in the prisoners!" Clouse commanded as a metal gate opened and the Elemental Masters were brought forth in vengestone chains to keep their abilities in check

"Bring in the prisoners!" Clouse commanded as a metal gate opened and the Elemental Masters were brought forth in vengestone chains to keep their abilities in check.

"So the ninja were right." Griffin Turner muttered under his breath, realization striking him. "This was never about any of us winning the tournament. This was always about something sinister."

The Master of Shadow scoffed, dark eyes glancing at the Master of Speed with a raised eyebrow. "What gave that away? Was it his cult following, or the giant snake head?"

"We've been fighting each other for so long, it took us all losing to finally pull us together." Neuro sighed, shaking his head in disappointment at his own inadequacy. "Too bad it's too late."

From the front of the chained march, Kai's eyebrow twitched in irritation as Jay hummed a soft tune, as if nothing was wrong with the world. "Why are you humming? You do know they're about to take our powers?"

Jay turned his attention to the Master of Fire, his humming coming to a halt but a smile still present on his face. "Since these cursed shackles have blocked our powers, I choose to use the power of positive thinking." He told the red Ninja. "Lloyd or even Rouge will come save us. You just wait."

"Well, you clearly don't know our little batty friend then." The Master of Fire scowls before turning to the front, only to see the last person he actually wanted to see, Skylor. The two locked eyes for a brief moment, but the Master of Amber looked away first, not wanting to see that look on the Master of Fire's face. "Go ahead and look away, but you know as well as I do after he takes our powers, he's still gonna need yours."

"You don't understand." Skylor turned her gaze back to Kai, a mixture of regret and resignation. "My father gets everything he wants. I had no choice."

The Red Ninja scoffed, looking down with a frown. "Just tell me one thing. Was it his idea to make me fall for you, or yours?" He asked, glancing up and into the wide eyes of the orange cladded woman. "Because it worked."

The confession made Skylor gasp softly, a rosy tint to her cheeks from it. She turned away, bashful, and a smile graced her face. The plan for her never involved... that, just to get one of the Ninja to cover for her. She didn't expect one of them to fall for her.

"Lock 'em down." Zugu sneered, interrupting the nice moment as the Elemental Masters were brought to their knees. "All rise for Master Chen!"

The drums hammered loudly as the laughter of Chen rang out across the room like a sinister echo. His chair floated around the room, the Staff of Elements glowing with the power of Gravity. "Look at me. I'm floating!" Chen cackled loudly, but the Element Energy staggered for a moment, making him nearly fall off. "I got it, I got it."
