Sophie stood by the gates of the fauline cottage. Elijah stopped and reminisced about the time they had trapped Kol's witch minions in there. And now it is used as a sanitarium/prison for all witches that have gone completely off the rails.
"How exactly are we going to retrieve this witch?" Elijah asked "if Sophie goes in there she will be trapped, if we go in there we can get out but we can't get the witch out"
"She's called Sasha" Sophie snapped "and I've brought a couple of dark objects and her old hairbrush, I can create a spell that caters to only her" Elijah watched as she ripped the hair away from the brush and set it alight, as the hair burnt she quickly dropped it into a trinket and stuck it onto the end of the fence, where the dolls head used to stand.
She spun it quickly and then looked to the two vampires "if you can get in there and get to her, she can leave, she should still be in the basement"
"Let me go and meet this girl then" Elijah sighted and walked through the gates followed by Marcel, they got to the door which he immediately kicked wide open to only be stared at by other witches who-obviously- tried to run out. He heard screams of anger when they realised that they couldn't step over the boundary.
"Stairs are this way" Marcel motioned to dark stairs that lead to a chipped, brown door. Elijah, again lead the way, knocking on the door as soon as he reached it.
"Sasha?" He said, hoping she would hear him
"Doors locked asshole" she shouted back "I've told you again leave me alone, I can't open it"
Elijah almost let out a chuckle at her response. Obviously these crazy witches have been tormenting her. "Sasha it's Marcel" he butted in
"What are you doing in here Marcel?" Her voice indicated that she was incredibly shocked to hear his voice
"We're here to get you out" Marcel replied "now stand back" he rammed his shoulder into the door once, and then twice, hitting it clean off the hinges.
That was the first time Elijah ever saw this girl. Though she looked familiar, she had similar blue/green eyes and small pointed nose to someone else he had aligned with in his past life. But she was the complete definition of beauty, though her hair was tatted and her clothes were ripped. She even had smudged of dirt on her face.
The room was darkened, only a dim light shone giving off as much light as a candle. An unmade bed was in the corner next to a small nightstand. How could anyone live in this place for 5 years. He would much rather prefer his coffin than this place.
"I'm not sure if I want to go" her voice now slightly quieter, she twiddled her thumbs and acted shy. Maybe it was the thought of going outside for once, after 5 years in one room hiding out, it could take its toll immensely. "What if he comes back?"
"That's where I come in" Elijah didn't want to wait to be introduced "Elijah Mikaelson" he smiled at her
She fluttered her eyelashes as she looked at the floor to Marcel and finally to Elijah "You're an original" she coughed
"I'm as original as it gets" he chuckled "And After some convincing, from Marcel and Sophie Deveraux, I can now be classed as your 'bodyguard'"
"I like the sound of that" she giggled, her smile actually light the room up, though her eyes gave her way her true feelings. Scared.
"You'll be staying in the Mikaelson compound" Marcel explained "there both me and Elijah can keep an eye on you at all times"
"It's better than being in here I guess" she shrugged "I'm not even sure if I can handle daylight yet, I feel like a vam..." She stopped before she could finish the rest of her sentence, kicking herself mentally
"We get it" Marcel finished
The three walked upstairs, Sasha almost stumbling, the light was beginning to shiny through and she hadn't climbed steps or done this much exercise since... Well since 5 years ago.
But Elijah was there to catch her, his arm hovered over her waist, in case she fell backwards at any point.
"Damn it's bright" she squinted her eyes as they exited the building. Her hand on her forehead to shield the sun rays from directly shining in her eyes.
Elijah didn't know her but he could tell by the way she acted, the way she walked and the way she lit up when she saw her cousin Sophie Deveraux, that she didn't deserve any of this.
He watched as she ran towards Sophie and hugged her tightly. "Thankyou" she said and then turned around to the two vampires "thank you so much"
"Let's get you to the compound " Marcel split her from Sophie "we'll get you settled in and familiar with everyone"
