Oh my god. Sasha jumped back as a group of ignorant teenagers pushed into her. She was staying to the sidelines, out of the crowd but when the group of five, who were obviously intoxicated pushed into her. She had no choice but to fall into the stream of people.

She snapped her head from side to side to see who was pushing her, everyone was. This was too much, she had really taken on more than she could handle. The heavy based music made her ears hum in a way that made her feel almost nauseous, and the lights... The lights she really wanted to see blinded her as lasers were shot all over the place. The strobe lights were the worst.

It was so bad that Sasha could almost hear her heart beat over the music, she could feel it over the vibrations on the floor. Her breathing deepened as she looked for a way to get out, somehow all this contact with these humans, all the pushing and shoving had lead her into the middle, where she could barely see stores on the sidelines.

She shouldn't have even stepped out of the compound without Elijah or Marcel. Why did she have to be so stupid?

Sasha edged to her right "excuse me" she said quietly to a woman who had glow sticks around her neck and was waving a red drink in the air. She didn't hear Sasha, which riled her up.

She focussed her gaze on the woman who now had stopped in the street. Sasha couldn't help it, she was terrified and a little angry, she was intimidated and she felt threatened. The only thing she could do was use her magic.

The woman began to cough violently, followed by blood spurting from her mouth. A couple of drops landed on the skirt of Sasha's dress. And there it was, so many people had stopped to gather around the sick woman, a path had opened.

Sasha didn't think twice, so she ran.

Meanwhile Elijah was walking along the path with Hayley, he had joined the crowd where it wasn't so busy. The music was a bit loud, but Hayley was enjoying it.

The image of someone caught his eye, he turned his head so he could see better. Why on Earth was Marcel with Rebekah?

Elijah stepped away, bringing Hayley with him, Marcel saw him and looked at him weirdly.

"Marcel where is Sasha?" Elijah asked worriedly

"Sasha was supposed to be with you, you were the one that volunteered" Marcel snapped "you lost her?"

"She told me that you offered to take her, that Rebekah took a rain check" Elijah said

"And you didn't think to double check? Elijah she could be somewhere in this crowd, terrified" Marcel rubbed the back of his head and turned his head "right, I'll look in the compound to see if she stayed in, you begin to look through this crowd, she won't be hard to spot"

The group of 4 split off into separate directions and Elijah quickly scanned the crowd. This time it was his heart beating, how could he be so stupid? He should have realised that Rebekah would never give up a date with Marcel, he should have realised there and then that she wouldn't stop tucking her hair behind her ear. Tara did that when she lied.

And now Elijah was terrified, the only thing that kept him sane for now was that there was no knowledgable presence of the man that she was hiding from. As he walked by, he saw a crowd of people gathering round a woman

"I'm fine" he heard her say "I don't know what happened, I just started to cough blood" but he couldn't stop to ask, if that was Sasha, she was probably scared and she would probably be near.

Sasha was practically running now, she stuck close to the crowd whilst still on the sidelines. So she blended in as well as having a quick escape.

Just a couple of streets to go and then she could break off into the compound and get to bed, pretending that she didn't leave. Maybe they'd be mad that she lied, but they wouldn't be as mad as they would when they found out that she actually left.

Sasha's heart stopped, along with her feet. She stopped moving and her eyes only focussed one one person in particular. One person that stood about 20 steps in front of her.

Her breath caught as she inhaled, shocked to see him again.

Daniel stood in a clean suit talking to two guys, who looked equally frightening. But Sasha had been having an awful day, he was the reason she was like this, he was the reason she was hiding away for 5 years and she thought if she could take him by surprise, she'd end it.

So she charged, her determined stare locked on him. Her hands bunched up into fists.

But as soon as she was even close to him, she found her back against the wall in the nearest alley way."what on earth do you think you were doing?"
Elijah held her down, not lightening his grip.

Sasha tried to wriggle out and then gave up.

"You were lucky I found you before you acted so stupid" Elijah said in a patronising tone "I'm assuming that was Daniel? Sasha you're supposed to be hiding, you're not supposed to be here"

Sasha looked away from Elijah, she knew she was wrong and she could understand why he would be mad.

When they got back to the compound, Sasha sat herself on a chair in her room, and tucked herself under the desk. Her eyes followed Marcel who was pacing the room and Elijah was stood in the corner.

"How could you be so stupid? What if he would have found you?" Marcel raised his voice and banged is fists on the desk, making Sasha flinch.

"Then he would probably put an end to this abomination of a life" she muttered to herself. She took a pencil and some paper and began doodling, to avoid any eye contact.

"Don't you dare say that" Marcel said "you are not an abomination"

"Really?" She asked in return "I'm 21 years old, I have spend 5 years in the basement of a crazy house for witches!" She raised her voice "I had to sneak out of the compound on my own because none of you wanted to take me out, how sad is that? I'm nothing but a burden on you; you would've been smart to let me carry on walking"

"You're not a burden" Elijah jumped in, bringing an aura of calm to the situation.

But Sasha didn't reply, her eyes seemed to cloud over into a light blue colour. All she did was stare into the distance, not at anything in particular, her pencils pressed so hard on the paper that some of them snapped.

"Sasha" Elijah tried to snap her out of it  but it was no use, he had to let her finish.

Her head dropped to the desk as she snapped out of it. Her eyes felt heavy as she looked up at the two who stared at the picture under her body.

"I don't know what happened" she shook her head "but all I could feel is bad energy, all I could feel when I drew this was death; I don't know if it's my death or not, but it affects me"

Elijah slipped the sheet from under her to examine it. He almost dropped it when he realised.

It was a red door.
