This chapter does get slightly heated so thought I'd give a little warning. It's nothing serious but ya never know :) Thought I'd be polite in case some people are uncomfortable with intimate moments. Enjoy reading!

Once we got back to Erwin and the rest, we quickly made our way back to the base. Hanji had informed Erwin of what we found on the way back and he seemed interested on what this could mean. Hanji was instructed to write a report on the findings, but before that, we were scolded for disobeying orders and told that there would be consequences. He didn't tell us what those consequences were however which made us both curious and worried.

As soon as we got back to the base, Hani headed straight for her office to begin reading the notebook and writing up her report. This left me alone with the others who were watching me with disapproving looks.
"What?" I asked innocently, a smile on my face to try to get them to drop it. It didn't work. Levi grabbed hold of my arm and dragged me away with him. Oluo was smirking at me while Eld and Gunther looked both amused and sympathetic towards me. Petra looked lost on what to do but let me be led away by the cruel midget. He dragged me into his room and pulled me in, slamming me against the door causing it to shut due to my body weight. His arms were trapping me in and his face was quite close to mine. Boom boom. Boom boom. My heart hammered away in my chest at the closeness of his face to mine. What was going on here exactly? He was never this close to me before! It was rather tempting to lean up and kiss him both to satisfy my desire and also to see the look on his face. However I held myself back and instead gave him a bored look. "Is there a reason you suddenly decided to drag me away?"
"Why did you run off with Hanji? You both knew that was dangerous." He practically growled.
"Why the hell not? It's not like we got hurt now is it? We're both too experienced for that Levi." I groaned, my hands going to my hips in a defiant stance. "Back off Levi. What I do is none of your concern."
"It is my concern." He grunted out. I raised an eyebrow at him in question and scoffed.
"Yeah right. Who says?"
"Me." He glared back at me for giving him attitude but I wasn't going to let it drop.
"Why's that exactly? Why do you even care?" I demanded. He was getting angry and although I knew I should've stopped due to how his eyes were getting even darker, I couldn't make myself shut up. "Why Levi? Huh? Why?" I continued, poking him in the chest childishly.
"Because I damn well do care!" He exclaimed, leaning forward and crashing his lips down onto mine. I froze before reacting. Instinctively, I began to kiss him back and ran my hands through his hair before pulling on it slightly causing him to groan. A delightful shiver ran my spine at the effect I seemed to be having on him and how powerful it made me feel. He brought his body closer to him so that there wasn't even a thread of space between us. My eyes were shut so I didn't know what he looked like while kissing me, so instead I felt it. His body heat radiating off of him, the scent of his body intoxicating me, and the feel of his muscular body making my own heat up. His tongue slid through my lips causing me to moan out loud and I could practically feel him smirk.

Before anything could become too heated, a knock at the door caused Levi to jump back. He seemed to be in a daze like I felt myself, before recovering with a look of anger. Was that directed towards me or himself?
"Levi? What....." I started, only to be cut off by him holding up a hand.
"Forget it." He stated simply, then walked out of the room like a fox being hunted. Oh hell no! Strutting out of the room after him, this time it was me that grabbed hold of him. Spinning him around, I pinned him against the wall so now our roles were reversed.
"Don't you dare pull a stunt like that then walk out!" I growled out. In a way I would've been amused at myself in a different scenario because I felt like Levi. He was usually the one who would be doing this.
"Back off Rin." He glared, his eyes flashing angrily as I had him pinned. He didn't like being on the other end of it. Tough.
"No. Why did you kiss me then walk out? Tell me or I'll go tell everyone that you kissed me then walked out like a chicken. What would they think? The great Lance Corporal fleeing like a child?" I taunted him smirking. Let's see him try to get out of this one. He was silent for a few moments before meeting my eyes and staring straight into them as he gave me his answer.
"Because I don't want to make another mistake." What was that supposed to mean?
"What mistake?" I asked confused.
"The mistake of kissing you again or taking it further like I want to." He informed me, his voice becoming slightly husky. I felt my cheeks flaming up and stumbled backwards in surprise. Holy shit......
"Um..... well..... ah...... thank you for.... um.... informing me of... that...." I stammered out embarrassed. He rolled his eyes and began to walk away again but then I hugged him from behind. "I wouldn't mind you know.... if you did um.... take it further or kiss me again." I whispered into his ear huskily, my confidence coming back full force. He stood stock still as he processed what I had just said. Before he could take action on my words, a voice called out to me.
"Rin! Can you come to....." The voice trailed off as they saw Levi with me. Looking over, I saw a mischievous look on Hanji's face. Petra stood next to her giggling in amusement. Levi leant over to me and whispered into my ear.
"We'll sort this out later." He promised, turning and walking away. Oh. My God!

After that, I was dragged - yet again - somewhere else. We quickly arrived in Hanji's office and I was sat down on her chair. She stared at me like a child who had just discovered a fascinating and exciting toy. Her stare made me a tad uncomfortable but I just had to bare with it for a little while. Petra was watching me as well with a knowing look.
"So? What happened?" Hanji began the questioning. Sighing, I informed them of everything that happened after Levi had forced me away from the group and Petra. Hanji cheered for me and Petra giggled some more upon hearing the story.
"He kissed you? Really?" Petra grinned like a goofy teenager. Nodding, she grabbed hold of me and shook my shoulders excitedly. "This is great Rin! It means he feels the same way!" She exclaimed.
"Yeah RinRin!" Hanji agreed, using the dumb nickname again.
"Yeah well we'll see." I sighed. "What was in that notebook anyway Hanji?" I asked, changing the subject. She noticed this but instantly turned more excited at being able to tell us of her findings. Her voice seemed excited however it also seemed sympathetic.

Hanji explained to us that Ilse had lost her squad and had survived alone before running into a titan. The same one we found in the forest it seemed. It had spoken to her and showed respect by kneeling on the floor, it's head down to the floor. It spoke words such as "Ymir's people," and "Greetings." A titan had spoken? How could that be? In the years we've protected ourselves against them and tried to discover their secrets, nobody has ever found out that they can talk? Then again if somebody had, would anyone believe them? Would they even tell us? How did that useless chunk of meat know how to talk? After Ilse had discovered this, she ran for her life due to the titans strange behaviour, only to be grabbed shortly after and killed. Once she was dead, the titan stored her body in that tree we found. Astonishing. Something happened that we had no idea could occur. This was progress. All Hanji would need was proof from someone else.

Once that topic had been discussed, Hanji shooed us from her office and informed us both that she needed to get on with the report that Erwin asked for. Leaving her in peace, we walked off towards the dining hall. Everyone seemed to be getting on with one thing or another so we used that chance to eat in silence. It wasn't only us two that had decided to eat in the peace and quiet, other members of the survey corps were seated around the hall eating merrily. My mind kept going back to mine and Levi's situation, which then only caused my heart to race. Did he feel the same? Or was it just an in-the-heat-of-the-moment kind of thing? I honestly did not know. Petra must have noticed my thoughtful expression as a giggle escaped her lips. Glancing up at her questioningly, I raised an eyebrow and frowned.
"What?" I queried, my tone confused.
"Nothing." She giggled once again. "I've just never seen you think about something so hard before.... well..... except for when you're thinking of your parents or killing titans." She explained with a nonchalant shrug. Blushing slightly, I buried my face in my crossed arms that lay on the table. I could practically feel the happiness radiating off of the woman next to me. She was right. He had invaded my thoughts and taken over. Feelings I had once blocked off were now coming back with a vengeance. I wasn't sure if I liked this new feeling. "Speak of the devil." Petra grinned. Turning my head towards the open doors, Levi walked in and headed straight towards the front where food was being served to those who wanted it. His eyes met mine for a brief moment before he looked away again with a small smirk on his lips. Oh that little bugga! He was enjoying this! "I think you should tease him." Petra spoke her thoughts with a sly grin. My head snapped round to her confused and I raised an eyebrow.
"Tease.....him?" I murmured.
"Sexually with your body and looks. It's obvious he likes you so make him give in first." She explained. A blush stained my cheeks and at that very moment, a plate was set down near us and a certain annoying man sat down by us.
"Why are you so red?" He queried in his usual emotionless tone.
"N-no r-reason." I stammered in embarrassment. "I um, I'm going to just um, leave." With that, I gave my plate back to the cook and walked out.

My head was spinning with thoughts of what Petra said. Should I do what she said, or should I ignore it? If I did go along with her plan, how would I go about doing it? Images of what Levi's flustered expressions could look like flashed through my mind. Would he even show a flustered face in front of me? I guess it was worth it.......

Tomorrow I would get straight to work on teasing Lance Corporal Levi Ackerman. By God he would give in and admit to me like Petra said. If it was the last thing I did then I'd make sure the plan went well!
