I awoke the next morning wrapped in a pair of muscular arms and my head resting on a muscular chest. Smiling softly to myself, I pulled back a bit just to look at Levi's peaceful sleeping face. He seemed so much more relaxed in his sleep, and surprisingly he had a small smile on his lips as he slept. My mind flashed with images of what we did last night which caused my cheeks to redden and a nervous chuckle to slip through my lips. I can't believe he kept me up most of the night....... Not that I didn't enjoy every second of it.
"Something on your mind?" A husky and teasing voice broke me from my thoughts. Looking down, I saw that Levi was staring directly at my face with a smirk.
"No." I lied, the word coming out quickly showing that I was indeed lying to him. His smirk only grew and his eyes showed his amusement. Just as he was going to reply, the door burst open to reveal a grinning Hanji.
"Levi! It's almost time for........" She broke off when she saw us both in the bed. Her eyes glanced between us before seeing my reddened cheeks and bursting into laughter. "No way! You guys actually did it! Just wait until everyone else finds out......"
"Shut up, shitty four eyes." Levi sighed out annoyed, his arms tightening around me and pulling me back to lie on his chest.
"Now come on! Don't be like that! It's almost time for Eren's trial anyway." She informed us, her tone turning grave. My eyes widened and I spun round to look at her.
"Eren's what?" I demanded.
"His trial. To see who gets him. Levi you're needed in there so you might want to hurry it up. Erwin's waiting." She explained, turning and leaving the room, shutting the door behind her.
"Eren's having a trial?" I gasped shocked and worried. "What if the Military Police get him? They'll be too brutal!"
"Rin!" Levi exclaimed, diverting my attention to him. "Everything will be ok. Erwin has a plan. Trust me."
"I do trust you, I'm just...... worried." I sighed wearily.
"I know, but it'll be fine. Now come on. Let's get dressed and go." He instructed, sitting up with me still in his arms. He released me to climb out of bed, my cheeks reddening even more if that was possible when I saw his naked body in full view. Following his lead, I kept my head down and got myself dressed as well. Time to go see what happens at the trial.Arriving outside the court room, we saw Erwin and Hanji standing there waiting. Erwin looked rather irritated at us for being late, and Hanji looked highly amused at seeing us arrived together late. With one look at me, a grin spread across her lips and her eyes sparkled in both happiness and mischief. She went to open her mouth but a single glare from Levi caused her to shut it.
"You're late." Erwin sighed agitated.
"Sorry." I apologised for us, knowing that no matter how much Levi respected him, he was too stubborn to apologise himself. Mostly due to the fact that his 'alone time' with me was interrupted because of this. "Shall we go in then?" I suggested.
"Ah, Rin. You're not needed inside." I was suddenly informed. Huh? Giving him a confused look, Erwin sighed and rubbed at his temple. "You're too emotionally attached, so this is for us to settle. Hanji take her off somewhere. Go find Petra." Hanji instantly took action, knowing full well that I would've argued against this. She grabbed me by the shoulders and pushed me away. Levi watched me leave with his usual emotionless expression but the emotions lying beneath could only be seen by me. He was sorry that I had to leave, but was willing me to trust him. Nodding and dropping my head in defeat, Hanji continued forcing me away from where they stood.Hanji had decided to take me into the town in the Trost District. She was going back there, so Petra was to stay with me. Petra had already been informed about me not being allowed to go in, and so she stood ready in the market place, waiting patiently for us to turn up. After leaving me with Petra, she waved and disappeared off back to the Court.
"Trust them Rin." She smiled beside me.
"I do trust them, I'm just worried." I admitted to her, my tone concerned and torn. Part of me wanted to storm in there and the other half wanted to abide by Erwin's instructions and stay out of it. "Stuff it, I'm going back." I concluded, turning and making my way back........ only to be stopped by Petra's hand on my shoulder as well as a male's hand. Groaning, I twisted my head slightly to see Eld standing there grinning at me.
"Now where do you think you're going?" He taunted. God dammit! They had called him in to restrain me? Really?! I admit that I'd probably cause trouble but even then this is just dumb!
"Piss off." I hissed out at him, going to another step forward. Unfortunately the dumb butt just had to pick me up and throw me over his shoulder. "Put me down you ass!" I growled out. Petra giggled from beside us as I tried to kick at him and pounded my fists down on his back.
"Nope." He replied, popping the 'p' annoyingly. Flopping down, I just stared at the ground and it past me. The annoying ass beneath me let out a chuckle at my defeat. "Levi's gunna hate me for touching you."
