I edited the last chapter quite a lot because it was short and rushed so, if you want to, read it again because it's waaay better okai thank yuh,
'How many sorts of cheesecake are there?' I asked in awe as I watched Masky greedily begin to eat his fourth whole cheesecake. 'Ermm... vwell, dere is...' he trailed off in thought, still with a mouthful of cheesecake. I was sat at the kitchen table with Masky, Ben and Cherry. Cherry and Ben were basically best friends and I was becoming good friends with Cherry now I had gotten used to her constant perkiness. Smiledog sat expectantly at Masky's feet. He seemed to have taken a liking to Masky, especially while he had cheesecake. 'I'm bored, let's do something fun,' Ben said, steadily getting more fed up. I had noticed that while Ben wasn't doing something mischievous or destructive, he was bored. 'Please explain your definition of fun because last time I checked, dragging us all into a game we know nothing about then leaving us wasn't exactly fun,' I grumbled, folding my arms. Cherry and Masky both laughed at me. They had seemed to enjoy the game, at least that's what they told me. I just thought they were enjoying my distress. 'I guess seeing as though you don't like my ideas you won't want to join in then?' Ben said. What was he up to? I was sure he would be trying to trick me into doing something else stupid and pointless. I folded my arms decisively and firmly told him I wanted no part of his 'idea.' That was until I found out that there was alcohol involved. My face fell and Ben's was smug. Cherry and Masky looked like they wanted to stay out of it. 'As you don't want to join in, do you mind going somewhere else? We need plenty of room to fit the vodka bottles,' he smirked. I opened my mouth to begin to protest but Masky rescued me. 'We were going to go out anyway so I'll pass on the game.' I sighed the excuse out of my mouth with relief. 'Well would you at least mind getting us some bottles of vodka out of the shed?' I shrugged and went outside to get their alcohol while Masky finished his cheesecake. The shed was literally by the side wall of our mansion so it wasn't like I was going out of my way much to do Ben a favour. The dusty shed was so rammed with bottles of alcohol that I was questioning why I hadn't seen them before. I was looking up and down the rows for the vodka when an icy voice made me freeze up in fear. 'Aren't you a little young to be drinking?' I knew immediately that it was Hoodie. I also knew that I was in danger and out of time. Not like I would have ever left, oh no. I'm not being ruled around, especially by such an arrogant jerk. I felt a searing pain jolt through my skull and I collapsed to my knees, moaning in pain. 'Wow, you're tough,' he remarked though I was in too much agony to focus on his drawling voice. I managed to pull myself up from the floor but I swayed around. Before Hoodie could react I sucked in a deep breath and let out a scream so loud that Hoodie was momentarily stunned. His shadowed face filled with panic and rage, 'Shut up,' he growled, covering my mouth. I thrashed around madly in his iron grip but it got me nowhere. He ran off into the trees which disguised us but through the trees I see a glimpse of fur and hear a promising bark. Hoodie cursed loudly, knowing that we had been spotted and picked up his pace. While he was focusing on getting away, his attention was not fully on me so grasping an opportunity I twisted my body around and punched him in the only weakness I knew he had and this is one of the most painful things a guy can experience so I was pretty sure it would give me enough time to escape. Hoodie dropped to the ground holding his crotch and if I wasn't so scared, I probably would have laughed. I raced back through the trees clumsily and desperately until I reached the clearing of the mansion. I burst through the tree-line and shouted out to Masky, Ben, Cherry and Smiledog who were all stood around looking very anxious. Relief spilt on to all of our faces but then a pair of hands grabbed my hips and pulled me back. Hoodie threw my whole body on to his shoulder and this time I knew I was in trouble. I had calculated it wrong. I had not had enough time to escape. Hoodie's sprint slowed to a jog and finally a walk when the angry shouts of my friends and boyfriend behind slowly turned to silence. I had given up beating Hoodie's back furiously and my whole body was tired and shaking. He stopped walking and dropped me on the floor at an opening. I quickly surveyed my surroundings. I was a survivor. I would not let one person lead me to my death. We were at the top of a cliff. He smirked at me from under his hood. It was a genuine smirk causing my blood to boil with rage. 'Masky will be destroyed,' he began, then he pulled a sad face but I could still see the smirk behind his pout. 'Unfortunately for you, I know someone who can make him forget,' he winked at me. He surely couldn't mean..? He liked Masky? My head began to deny the idea but Hoodie's smirk was telling me a different thing. 'HOODIE MOVE AWAY FROM HER NOW,' a voice more menacing than Hoodie's snarled. It was Ben. His pupils had taken over his black eyes leaving them blood red and burning with fury. Cherry and Masky flanked either side of Ben, almost like his own bodyguards, looking just as threatening. I couldn't believe that Ben was sticking up for me against Hoodie, I was infuriated that I was in another troublesome situation and the terror came from Hoodie. The three of my friends (and Smiledog) lunged at Hoodie but Hoodie was too quick for them all. He kicked me in the stomach, winding me and sending me rolling off the cliff. You know the feeling that you get in a dream where you're falling and you jolt awake before you hit the ground? This was that feeling except this wasn't a dream and I wasn't going to wake up just before I hit the ground. My body flung into panic mode as I felt myself falling, almost in slow motion. I grabbed desperately for something to hold onto in blind horror and when the falling stopped I looked to see the cause. I had managed to grab hold of a small dirt ledge sticking out from the cliff face. Ben's pale face peered over the edge. 'Hold on,' he yelled. Cherry appeared next to him and she began to reach down to me so she could pull me up. Ben was holding her waist to make sure she didn't fall too. I reached up to Cherry using my free hand and grasped her wrist. Her hand locked around my wrist and mine locked around hers and both her and Ben pulled me back over the side. I fell to the ground breathless and shaking with fear before bursting into tears. I watched Masky deliver a hard blow to Hoodie's head, sending him crashing to the floor and Smiledog stood over him snarling menacingly. Cherry rubbed my back and Ben tried to say something comforting to me but I wasn't listening. It took all of my remaining strength to get myself to stay upright but Masky wrapped his arm around my waist and Cherry linked her arm with mine to keep me stood up. Smiledog led us back to the mansion and when we got there, I decided I wanted some vodka after all.
