Shadows Brought into the Stars (book 2)

The Battle

Rogue disappeared into the shadows, but it took him all night to reach the Sabertooth guild, where Yukino would be explaining everything to Sting.
"Got it?" Rogue hissed, his fangs clenching down together angrily.
Yukino had never seen Rogue like this as she meakly nodded with an innocent look in her eyes.
It was close to being morning when the shadow drive finally reached the guild.
Yukino was still struggling, she refused to talk to Sting.
"Never mess with a dragon slayers mate!" Rogue whispered in her ear, bitterly.
She chills run up her spine.
And she said, "You should be my mate!"
Rogue scoffed as they were planning on making an entry but stopped as Lucy's voice rang in Rogue's ears.
"Rogue's missing, has he been here?" Lucy asked
He heard their conversation but knew it had escalated as Natsu's voice and Sting's started arguing.
Rogue couldn't fight for Lucy because he had to stay with Yukino.
"Stay here or you'll regret it!" He threatened, the already frightened Yukino.
She nodded as he broke through the window.
"Rogue!" Lucy yelled as her blonde hair flipped to get a good view of him.
Rogue smirked triumphantly.
But Lucy started to hit him on the head with tiny hands, "THAT'S GOING TO COST ALOT! YOU THINK WE HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY?"
Rogue sighed, 'same girl.'
When Lucy stopped Sting growled, "I heard you stole my girl!"
Rogue growled, "and why would I do that?"
Sting smirked as they all knew he'd bring Lucy into the matter, "because your slutty girlfriend's to overwhelming?"
Rogue nearly bit his head off for saying that, "at least mine loves me!"
Sting was furious! "You know what! Screw you!"
"Screw you to man!" Natsu yelled at Sting.
Everyone stared at him awkwardly.
"Natsu... not you..." Lucy whispered pulling him away,"and Sting!" Lucy thought about a good insult, "YOUR A MEANY!"
Natsu nodded in absolute agreement as everyone sweat dropped at her weak insult.
"Lucy's not a slut!" Natsu said defending Lucy.
Natsu and Rogue cornered Sting as Lecter was pulled back by Frosch.
Lucy kept a worried expression on as she watched the boys fight.
"Hey! Bitch!" A voice yelled from behind Lucy, but when she turned around she was to late as a knife was pressed to her throat.
Lucy let out a loud gasp as everyone looked at her.
"Yukino! Stay away from her!" Rogue yelled walking towards them slowly.
"No! She dies today!" Yukino yelled tightening the grip on the knife.
Lucy felt hot tears stream down her cheeks, "please no..." her voice nothing but a whisper.
"Luce??!!" Natsu yelled fear for his best friend and partner.
"Y-Yukino? Is it really true?" Sting asked with glassy eyes.
"Yes! It's all true! I hate you! And I'm in love with Rogue! But he rejected me for this little whore! But if she's dead there's no reason for him not too go out with me!" Yukino said with a menacing look in her eyes.
"Yukino... we're just friends. It won't change how I feel about you if she's dead. But. If you kill her, you'll regret it because me, the celestial world, Fairy Tail, and everyone who loves Lucy will get revenge!" Rogue growled.
"Fro knows so!" Frosche yelled letting go of Lecter and hitting Yukino on the calf.
Yukino turned and soccer kicked the exceed away.
"Fro!!" Lucy and Rogue screeched as the exceed flew.
Rogue was torn, go after his exceed or his mate who's got a knife to her throat.
