it's ok to go on

"Rogue!" Lucy screamed her eyes tight, with fear of the knife being held against her throat, "Save FROSCHE!"
Rogue's eyes widened as he watched his exceed, still flying, to its death, "I don't want to lose you again!"
Lucy opened her eyes and nodded as if saying, "it's ok to go on."
Rogue couldn't move paralyzed from shock, "LUCY HEARTFILIA! DON'T YOU DARE DIE!"
And Rogue disappeared.
"Rogue!" Yukino screamed making Lucy shriek.
"Stop it!!" Natsu yelled running towards them with his fist ready to kill.
Natsu was so fast that Yukino didn't have time to move out of the way and flew through the air backwards, letting go of the knife, but still leaving a small mark on Lucy's neck.
But not a deadly one.
Lucy fell to her knees exhausted and fell forward into Natsu's arms and cried.
"Luce... it's ok! Fro is ok! Everything is ok!" Natsu said with his reassuring toothy grin.
Lucy kept shaking as tears streamed down her face, "thank you... but I need to get Rogue now..." and Lucy weakly pulled away and dragged her feet in the direction of Rogue.
Natsu stopped, his heart was pounding, and beating a hundred miles per second, 'what is this feeling?' He wondered.

Lucy limply ran towards the emo guy holding a dead exceed.
"Frosche..." Rogue whimpered to himself.
'Even when I gave something up for you. You still died?' He thought as more tears found their way out of his eyes and spilling onto the little exceed in his arms.
"R-Rogue..." Lucy sobbed out and fell to her knees behind him, "I'm so sorry!"
Rogue turned around and saw Lucy, even when she was weak and vulnerable she was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen, "Lucy..." He choked out, and it was followed by sobs.
"Sorry..." Lucy whimpered.
Rogue yanked Lucy's arms towards him and the two kissed.
When they pulled apart Lucy wrapped Rogue in an embrace.
she glanced at the dead little cat wearing a frog costume next to them and tears streamed down as she could hear him squeal," Fro thinks so too!" The way he did cutely.
His memory made her eyes go blurry with tears.
'How could Rogue stand to be with me??' Lucy thought.
she felt like pushing away and running to never come back but, her plan changed as she heard Rogue whimper, "Please don't leave me to."
He didn't say it the way he did emotionlessly, but now he's whimpering.
He's sobbing and so vulnerable, Lucy tightened her grip on him and said, "I'll never leave unless you get tired of me."
And just to make the scene drastic, it started to rain in the two.
But it wasn't sprinkling or misty... it was pouring.
Lucy felt the cold water cover her like a blanket and fell asleep.

Rogue carried the blonde with the dead exceed on her stomach, back to Fairy Tail.
They rode the train but Rogue was to worried about Lucy to get motion sickness.
Lucy was shivering and Rogue gave her a blanket but even then did she shiver.

Natsu watched them walk to the rain station.
Happy had gone back with Erza and Gray who came earlier to check on them.
Natsu couldn't help but admire the blonde girl.
With Lucy asleep in Rogue's arms.
Lucy's hair falling slightly in her face, just giving him the urge to touch her blonde hair.
Even asleep she was angelic.
His eyes looked at her lips that were slightly open.
Thinking about her smile made him get a warm fuzzy feeling.
'What is this feeling?' He wondered until he thought, 'I'm in love with Lucy Heartfilia."
The rain still pouring on Natsu leaving him stumped in the rain.
'What have I done?' He thought as his eyes widened.

(Finally an update! Yay and I'm so proud of this chapter! I know it's sad that Frosche died but some times sacrifices have to be made. Please vote and comment! Tell me if you liked it! And no matter what it'll be a Rolu fanfiction so if I do add nalu it'll be one sided again. Ok please
