We arrive at Chloe's house which is already filled with everyone attending the 'surprise party' tonight, bar Sean and most of his friends. Chloe's mum Karen answers the door and leads us through to the living room, where everyone is. Their new house is even bigger than the old one they had in London, and I didn't think it was possible to have such a large house, but this family seems to make everything possible.

"Hannah!" Elle exclaims running over to me and so does the rest of the girls I used to be close with, they all hug me in turn and all say a lot of 'I missed you's'.

"Okay, everyone settle down." Chloe raises her voice over everyone's chatter.

Everyone takes a seat and there's now no room on all the sofa's and ottomans, and I look over to Brad who gestures for me to go over to him.

"I haven't seen you all day." I say as I reach him.

"I know, I've missed you." He replies.

"Why weren't you in?" I ask.

"I was getting your birthday present." He tells me grinning. "Here, sit here." He says patting his knee.

"Erm, okay." I say awkwardly and sit on his lap, as he wraps his arms around my waist.

"I told you to keep it U." Chloe warns then goes back to explaining the set up for later.

"What's she talking about?" Brad says laughing quietly.

"It's just Chloe being Chloe." I reply.

"Right." He grins leaning his face closer toward mine, and planting a kiss on my lips.

"Me and Hannah have come up with a way to get revenge on Sean for something he did to Hannah in the past, that she is still recovering from to this very day," Chloe raises her voice every time she reaches my name and giving me and Brad a stern look. "Anyway we heard it from a trusted source that he is going to try to get back together with Hannah tonight by pulling some promise ring shit on her."

"Yeah, he was telling me earlier, he even showed me the ring, it's some expensive platinum ring. He said that he wanted to make a huge surprise announcement before the cake comes out," Elle tells us all.

"What the fuck?" Brad exclaims sitting upright and I cling onto his arm so I don't fall off him. "You invited Sean and now he's trying to get back together with her?"

"This is where you come in Brad, your job is to be with Hannah at all times to make him jealous, but we can't put him off too much, so don't tell Sean you're a thing until he asks you to be his girlfriend." Chloe says.

"He's not touching you." Brad says pulling his arms tighter around me.

My eyes flash over to James across the room who watches us and then darts his eyes away as soon as I make eye contact with him. I then focus back on Chloe and her plan for later.

As soon as it reaches seven thirty everyone from this area leaves to get ready, but all the Londoners stay and get ready upstairs, and the rest of the group turns up. Luckily it's only the girls that are getting ready here and all the boys have gone to some hotel to get ready for the evening.

"Hey, Hannah." Elle says from behind me and I turn to face her.

"Hi," I reply.

"I'm sorry about Sean, I don't know what he did as Chloe refuses to tell us, but it sounds pretty horrible and I can't wait for the humiliation later." She tells me excitedly.

"Yeah, I'm pretty nervous though, I don't really want to have to see him again, but I know I'll regret not doing this." I say.

"Well, we're all here for you, and we've all missed you terribly it's not been the same without you." She replies and hugs me one last time until the makeup team calls her over.

I return to texting Brad until it's my turn to get my hair done, which I'm also nervous for as Chloe has chosen my makeup, hair and outfit for tonight. I can't believe she's done all this for my birthday, I don't know what I'm going to do in return for her birthday.

After a while of having my hair being heated by all sorts of hair devices and sprayed with hairspray the woman who's been doing my hair steps back and shows me my hair by holding a mirror in front of my face. At the moment my face looks crap as it's completely bare, but I focus on the hair more. Which has been styled into soft waves and been put in a half up braid. I smile at the woman and tell her how lovely it is before being ushered onto makeup.

"How are you enjoying this so far?" Chloe appears while I'm halfway through having my makeup done.

"This is so great, I love it, honestly Chloe you've done such an amazing job, I can't believe you've arranged all this for me." I tell her.

"Well I remember the one time you said about wanting to be a model, so I hired professional hair stylists, wardrobe specialists and makeup artists that have worked at fashions shows before." She says. "I hope you like what I chose for you."

"It's wonderful, and you look stunning," I reply , her hair pulled into a full braid and her makeup, which is a pale lipstick and pale looking smokey eye that is paired with a long plain silk black dress and heels.

"Thank you, I made sure that your style stood out from everyone else's, so everyone here is dressed in darker colours and your dress is, well the opposite from dark." Chloe grins.

"Wow, thanks Chloe." I say sarcastically.

"You're welcome," she laughs and walks off.

Chloe was right, every girl here has either a dark blue, black or wine red coloured dress on, the styles are all simple and mainly plain, but still seem so elegant. She's really gone all out for my birthday.

"All done," the woman doing my makeup says and holds a mirror to my face.

Chloe has done my makeup the opposite to everyone else here, my eyes are done with a gold into copper look, and my lips have been painted with a dark wine red colour. I smile at the woman and thank her before I'm then moved onto the final stage, the dress.

As I make my way to where the wardrobe team have been set up, which is a very big spare bedroom with a lot of mirrors, I look up at the clock as I pass it and the clock reads 9:50, which only leaves me ten minutes before he arrives, and my whole body is instantly filled with anxiety and worry.

"You're Hannah-Mae?" Another random woman says to me and I nod. "Okay, one second while I get your dress, shoes and jewellery." She tells me walking into the wardrobe and looking through racks if shoes and dresses that have been set up.

She appears in front of me again holding a white long, backless dress that has full sleeves that have been embellished. The woman helps me into the beautiful dress and then hands me the shoes that match the design of the dress. She then puts all sorts of necklaces, rings and bracelets on me until the time reaches 10:05.

"I'm just going to take your picture, okay?" The woman says taking hold of a camera, I nod and she takes the photo. "Have a nice party and birthday." She says before ushering me out.

I take a quick glance if myself in the mirror before going downstairs to the hall in Chloe's house where the party's being held. I've never looked so different in my life, but a good kind of different, and I've never felt so body confident in my life. I continue the walk down to the hall and the music gets louder, the breeze from the front door being open becomes more intense and it gets darker as I get closer to the hall. Several people are venturing down to the hall like me, and they all look at me and smile and I quickly walk to the hall to avoid them.

I take a deep breath and walk into the hall, everyone looks over at me as I enter, and I've never felt more like Cinderella in my life. I scan the hall for Brad, but my eyes find someone else. Sean.
