So from this chapter I have two directions that the next one can go. Both options are controlled by your comments. I'm not going to tell you what can happen next. So make sure you leave a comment. One option will bring the book to a close quicker than the other. SO COMMENT :) Votes are nice too :) So I will shut up and let you read now.

Izzy’s POV

The phone rang and I picked it up. It was usually crying relatives telling me how sorry they were. Word spread fast throughout families. It’d been two days since Jace died.

“Hello,” I said.

“Is this Isabella?” I breathless voice asked.

“Yes,” I said wearily.

“This is Officer Duncan,” The man said. “We found your husband,”

My breath caught in my throat. I’d been easier to deal with all of this when there was still a margin of hope inside me.

“He’s alive,” Officer Duncan said.

I don’t remember what happened after what Officer Duncan said, but I woke up staring at the ceiling. Jack and David stood staring down at me. I vaguely heard the voice of Officer Duncan still on the phone.

“Izzy what’s wrong,” David asked. Jack picked up the phone.

“Who is this?” He asked. “Jack Dawson,” He said. “He’s WHAT?” Jack looked at me on the floor then to David.

“It’s an officer, he says they found Dad and he’s alive,” Jack whispered. David took the phone from Jack. Jack helped me up and I grinned at him like an idiot. Jace was alive.

“Alright, we’ll be there in ten minutes,” David said. He turned to us. Kendal, Kali, and Chase were now standing beside us, looking at us expectantly.

“Well what it is it?” Kali asked.

“Jace, they found him and he’s alive!” I shouted like a three year old. McKinley, who had been visiting, fell from her perch on a chair.

“That’s impossible, I saw Clay shoot him.” She said.

“Does it matter, come on,” I screamed, bouncing like Adam. David grabbed the car keys and I rushed upstairs to get Adam from his nap.

“Where?” Adam asked, rubbing his eyes.

“We’re going to see Daddy,” I said as tears of joy streamed down my face.

“Daddy!” Adam shouted. We rushed outside and got into the car. McKinley followed us to the hospital in her car.

Jace’s POV

I met Clay and Grace at the rendezvous location. They grinned evilly at me.

“She doesn’t know about this does she?” Grace asked.

“No,” I said. Of course Izzy didn’t know. If she knew I wouldn’t be here. My heart gave a spasmodic flip at the thought of my perfect Izzy. I would never see her again. I hoped with every fiber of my being that she’d be ok.

“Of course she doesn’t know idiot,” Clay said. He jerked his head toward their car. I followed them and climbed in. Clay drove while Grace kept looking back at me in the mirror.

At the house I walked inside not fully prepared for what I saw. Kali sat with two people, a boy and a girl, who seemed to be protecting her. Her cheek was yellow green from an old bruise. A trail of scratches covered the bruise. Her wrists were bandaged up. The girl was in the process of changing one. The cut around her wrist was deep and horrific. When she saw me she gasped and clutched her abdomen in pain.
