I finished my shower and walked over to my bed with a towel in my hands, and I couldn't help but bite back a small smile when I saw my boyfriend sleeping on my, well our, bed with my pillow tucked close to his chest.
Daniel's whole body was relaxed, something that didn't happen when he was awake, and my heart grew warm and became filled with love and happiness.
I placed the towel over the back of my chair and started to walk over to him, and as if he knew that I was walking over to him, Daniel lifted the blankets up so that I would be able to crawl into bed and under the covers without having to do it on my own.
I did what my boyfriend silently told me to do by climbing into bed and went under the blankets beside him, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes and bite back a small smile, amused. I didn't say a word and laid down beside him, and Daniel dropped the blanket over me before he pulled me closer to him, shoving the pillow back into its normal spot so that I could rest my head on it.
I bit back a small laugh, turned to face him, and pressed a gentle kiss to his lips, and he instantly kissed me back, even though he didn't open his eyes or wake fully up. "I love you, Daniel," I said, my voice barely above a whisper while I pulled away from him so that I could see his relaxed face. "I hope you know that."
Daniel didn't say a word and pulled me closer to him. He shifted until half of his body covered me, and I couldn't help but bite back a small laugh before I shoved him off of me, earning a small groan of annoyance from him before he tried to do it again.
"Stop, Daniel," I said and laughed while I moved until I was able to breathe and not be squished by this man that I called my lover. "I am not going to leave, but that doesn't mean you can squish me while you are asleep."
"Mine," he all but growled out and pulled me closer to him. He buried his face into my hair and took a deep breath, taking in my scent before he moved his face so that he could breathe. He sighed happily and relaxed with a small smile on his face. "All mine."
I laughed and snuggled closer to him while I closed my eyes, and a smile danced on my lips. "Yes," I said, my voice barely above a whisper while a wave of exhaustion washed over me. "All yours until the end of time. Sleep well, my prince, and I will see you in the morning."
And with that, I turned around and fell fast asleep, grabbing his arm and clinging onto him for dear life.
Oh Gods, please, let me have one night of rest without any interruptions, I silently prayed while my heart grew heavy and became filled with pain and sadness. I needed this after all of the stuff I had been through for the past couple of months, making sure that everything was safe while we waited for your return...

And unfortunately, my prayers weren't answered...
I knew that much while I looked around to see that I was standing in a long hallway that led somewhere, and I felt this pull that beckoned me to go forward and follow it.
Oh Gods, protect me, I silently prayed before I started to follow this path that was set for me.
The hair on the back of my neck stood at attention, and a small shiver went down my spine. I bit back a small gasp and paused, knowing full well that my prayers had been answered when I asked for someone to protect me..
Was I on Yervon?
If not, then where was I because I knew that I wasn't where I was meant to be.
I pursed my lips in annoyance before I moved a hand through my hair and across my face. I didn't say a word while I continued to walk toward the feeling, looking this way and that to make sure that there was nothing of interest or of use to me.
