Afternoon Monday [4:03 pm]
We sat outside Ash's house, waiting for the boy to come out. He had texted me a while back saying he had to put on some clothes. It was just another couple of minutes when the door finally opened. The boy walked out dressed in a black pair of pants a grey graphic hoodie and some white sneakers.
"Alright finally—" Harley groaned unlocking the car. I went to open my door when he began climbing through Harley's window. "What the fuck!" She exclaimed as she pressed her hand into the boy's chest as he climbed past the arm rest and in between Meo and Iris.
I ducked my head out of the way of his legs and snorted, noting Harley's messy hair and the deadpan look on her face. "Is he a wolf too?" She asked. I just shook my head, "ahh, so it's not just wolves, but shifters as a whole." She muttered and put the car in drive.
"Hey Iris." I hear Ash greet. "You here to save a vampire too?" He asked. At this, the girl's eyes widened. "I thought we were saving your brother." She said. "We are." Harley sighed.
"Your brother's a vampire?! Wait, you're a vampire?!"
"Pretty and smart. You sure got your pick of the litter didn't you Cam Cam." She sighed. Before I knew it, a loud commotion started from the back. Checking the rear view mirror, Iris can be seen being held back by Meo and Ash as she launched for Harley.
I sighed and slammed my fist into Harley's cheek. The car swerved as the girl driving turned to me shocked. "Don't be a bitch alright Harley. We're here for your sake, not-a-one of us have to be here." I huffed. She scoffed and rolled her eyes, wiping away the blood at the corner of her mouth.
"This isn't nearly enough if we plan to storm a Yellow Coat lab." Meo spoke up. "Relax, I got some people I plan to invite to the party." Harley assured the man as she turned out of the neighborhood.
I wasn't sure where we were headed but before I knew it, we had reached an entirely new neighborhood. Houses I hadn't even known existed appeared out of nowhere. We drove along the streets when we reached a two story house.
She pulled into the driveway beside a light grey G-Wagon. I whistled at the sight. "I knew all vampires were rich." I muttered. I hear a snort from beside me and turn to a see a smile on Harley's face.
"Just stay here dorks. I'll be back." She closed the door behind her as she sped to the front door. She pulled what I'm assuming to be a key, from her pocket and opened the front door. She stepped through it and shut the door behind her.
"Soo..what's your name?" I hear Ash ask.
"Meo." Meo replied.
"Cool. How do you know Cam."
I interrupted the man before he could speak. "Oh you know. The usual. I was taking out the trash one night when he decided to jump out and maul me near half to death." I said. Though the car was thrown into silence.
"Oh wait. Sorry I did die, actually."
"How many times do I have to apologize for that." He groaned. "A lifetime. Given that I'm going to be a fucking wolf for the rest of my life." I said. And although I was saying all this, I was only teasing the boy. I didn't actually hold a grudge against him for what he did. I know he had zero control of his beasts at the time, not to mention he had just escaped that horrid lab.
He must've been scared for his life, running on nothing but pure adrenaline and partial rage.
"Ohh...that sounds rough." Ash said slowly. I chuckled, hearing Meo mimic the sound. "You guys are insane. You know that right." Iris voiced, more so directed to Meo and I.

WerewolfIt was meant to be a normal family gathering, though it doesn't go according to plan when a particular wolf shows up to the party. Cameron Blaine is a competitive girl, if you ask me, pairing that with a wolf gene of any kind seems pretty dangerous...
