The next few days went smoothly.
[Y/N] would wake up, reluctantly get out of bed, change, and do her bathroom business, she located the bathroom after waking up in her new room for the first time and asking Dark where it was. She then would move through the large building towards the dining room and eat a small breakfast.
She tried waking up going to the library the first day but was stopped by Dark and gently ushered to the dining room where he told her to wait as he made her breakfast. He had reminded her that he knew about her recent lack of food from being depressed but that he she still needed to eat something, even it wasn't much, to keep her body functioning properly. [Y/N] didn't want to argue so she obliged and ate the morning meal, and continuing to do so the days after.
Her and the white haired man would then travel to library where she picked up documenting her experiences with Link. Dark would sit and read silently, keeping her company without being a disturbance. Every now and then he would leave to go tend to other matters regarding Link, Zelda, and Ganon, mostly watching his counterpart as he struggled to find a way to locate Dark and the female he now lived with. Other times he spoke with his minions, telling them to give the green clad hero as hard of a time as possible, or receiving information about the man he harbored hatred for. Other times he was gone for hours, hunting, gathering herbs, or going to the nearest town to gather other food items he couldn't make, things to aid [Y/N] in her self appointed mission to add to the Hyrule history book of his, or daily necessities, all for the female he loved.
When he would venture into town, he would make sure to disguise himself so the people wouldn't alert his enemy of his presence, but, just as a precaution, he made sure to use magic to cause others to forget him once he left. Of course, the rupees he used weren't his. He would take from others that weren't the most aware, or it would be from people his minions attacked at night, taking their money and disappearing, or he would simply bring items to trade with.
He would return to the library and sit down, picking up his book and starting where he left off. [Y/N] was curious as to what he did when he left the room but opted to not ask, figuring it was personal business and not her room to pry. She got her answer one day when Dark could sense her curiosity, where he explained what he did. He wasn't as at all worried about telling the truth, as he figured she deserved to know because they were now living together. Plus, if he wanted her to trust him, it was best to be honest.
A few days passed and the H/C was finished writing her accounts of her adventures. After informing Dark about her completion, the man aided her in placing the stack of pages in the book, after finding similar pages already in the book that corresponded with the same time as the things the female wrote about. It took some time but they managed to finish it in a few hours. At the end of it, the book was now about an inch thicker.
After a few more hours, Dark walked down the stairs. He and [Y/N] were now doing some deep dive research into how the brain and body perceived pain and pleasure. The reason they got into it was because as they were discussing different injuries they had gotten, [Y/N] brought up the fact that certain injuries hurt more in certain areas while not so much in other areas, and vice versa, which she had done so after asking if the man with her was able to experience pain. He had replied honestly with a 'Yes, but I heal quickly'.
He had decided that a snack was needed was for the both of them to keep their minds in working condition and especially prevent their train of thought be interrupted by hunger, so he was headed towards the kitchen.
Dark made it to his destination and had begun putting together some fruits and vegetables when a stalfos appeared. He let out an irritated sigh.
"What is it?" he asked, not really wanting an answer.
