Mina's POV
"B-but Trina!" I stuttered.
Trina gave me a furious glare. "Just do it, Mina!" she yelled into my face.
I was too horrified, powerless like usual, so I just gave up and decided to do it. Giving her a shaky salute, I dashed out of the room and closed the door behind me. I put my back against the door. Disbelief flooded me.
Trina's voice echoed through my mind. Maybe this was just going too far. Although, I had no choice but to do what Trina said. Letting her down was the last thing I wanted to do.
I took a deep breath, and slowly continued downstairs to do my duty.
Corey's POV
I was in the garage alone, tuning my guitar. The others weren't around, since I was in a pretty good mood and decided to give them a day off. I never really realized how quiet the garage really was. How it seemed so cold and empty made me... feel the same. I shrugged off the thought and continued tuning my guitar, until everything around me turned pitch black.
Something covered me, and whatever it was, I couldn't stand its tight space. There was a lack of oxygen, and eventually I started struggling to breathe. I yelped for air, but I knew it wouldn't help. Nobody was there to help me. Nobody knew this was even happening to me. All this was too much for my head.
My mind drifted off somewhere else, and before I knew it, I felt my body go limp.
Laney's POV
Kin, Kon and I strolled in the park enjoying our double-scooped ice creams.
Corey had cancelled band practice, and told us that we could have a free day off. I had disagreed of the idea, but Corey insisted that we should. It left me with nothing to do for the rest of the day, but the Kujira brothers happened to invite me to hang out with them. We were having a great time together, but I couldn't stop thinking about Corey. Everything didn't seem the same without him around.
As I took a bite out of my waffle cone, a tense feeling arouse within me. I found it odd, and I started to think about what could have caused it. That was then a thought hit me. Hit me real hard. Something that made my heart skip a few beats. No, it can't be. It couldn't be.
Corey. Was Corey... in trouble?
