Chapter 8 Savior
"What happened?" Sam whispered to me.
"Selena," I said sternly.
"You saw her?" he asked, furious.
"She cornered me in the bathroom."
"WHAT?! She did what?" He tried to keep his voice down.
"I'm fine. I told her to stay away from us." I told him the rest of the story and he looked at me proudly.
"I know you can do it." I gave him a smile and went back to surfing the web.
Me: This is getting boring, not doing anything in class. I don't understand why we have to be in here if we don't have to learn anything.
Sam: I understand, but I guess we still need to be present for every class. Maybe we can ask Dad?
Me: I want to find something that I can do for the rest of the day and not get bored. I don't want to sit in class wasting the time when i could be doing something more productive, or at least something that I can do to pass time.
Sam: Why don't we talk to him now?
Me: Sure.
Me: Hi Dad, how has everything been for you?
Dad: Everything's pretty successful so far. What are you two up to?
Sam: Dad, I think that we need something to do.
Dad: You two getting bored already?
Me: Dad, I can't survive this.
Dad: This is what you're going to be doing in college.
Me: At least we'll be taking classes then
Dad: Actually, no. I have talked with your Mom and we have decided that you two need to start taking college courses so that you will be able to pay more attention to your assignments when you do get into college. I sent Damon to you to make sure that you two continue training and he will teach you all he knows. I will also be sending you the information for your new tutors.
Sam: So we're going to be doing college work and practice in school as well?
Dad: Yes. Is there anything else you guys want to talk about?
Me: Dad, can you get the principal to give me permission to access the kitchen?
Dad: What are you going to do? You're going to cook?
Me: Well, Dad, since I'm a party of this school community, I want to do something for the student body. The school lunch really sucks.
Dad: Alright, I'll talk to the principal for you.
Me: Thanks Daddy. ILY <3
Dad: Son, do you see this? This is why your sister always gets what she wants.
Sam: Well, I finally learned her skills. I'll try that next time.
Dad: Alright. I have to get back to work now. I'll talk to you two next time.
Me: Bye Daddy. Nice talking to you.
Sam: Bye Dad.
Sam: No wonder you get everything you want.
Me: Uh huh. I'm pro like that.
Sam: I know you pro like that, but those skills aren't helpful when it comes to a guy trying to use it on his parents. It will just be weird.
Me: Yup, so give me what I want and I just might help you get what you want.
Sam: I'll have to think about it.
