My phone rang.
Text from Ashley H.
I was about to click on the new text icon when a familiar voice called to me,
"Don't. You'll regret it."
I glanced to the direction of which the voice was coming from.
"A-Austin. Why are you here?" I stuttered.
"I came to warn you about that text. That's why I'm here." He replied, staring at me with his clear blue eyes.
"I-I don't understand, it's just a text from Ashley?" I mumbled.
"Ally. Trust me."
Trust? What can the damn text be about?
"Austin. I insist on seeing that text. I can handle it." I replied. I can take care of myself. I can prove to him that I'm not a total weakling who couldn't stand up for herself.
"Alright. Fine. But listen to me, the content in that text ain't pretty. Ashley's a bitch, don't fall to her."
I gasped at how he openly used the 'b' word just like that.
I gulped, and clicked 'open text'.
