So, I wrote my lengthy reply to you, like 30 minutes ago, but when I refreshed the conversations page - Wattpad had deleted it, becasue it contained hyperlinks, lol!
Here is the essence, again.
i use mainly Wattpad, and AO3 as my back-up (Archive of our own). many people migrated their books to AO3 last year, becasue Wattpad deleted many, many books wihtout any warning, or explanation why. It has become too big, and is impossible to be run by people - so it's run by AI (bots). Anything a bot decided to flag as "inappropriate" gets deleted indiscriminately.
I tried QuoteV, and Inkitt, but i didn't like them - the editing/posting parts are quite shitty. Many people choose Tapas, as it protects your content from stealing - basically, it's not text, but "a picture" you read from, like in manhwa/manhua sites.
I haven't checked BlueSky or Dreame, and i only know that Fanfiction.net is one of the big 3 - Wattpad, The Archive, and itself. I haven't even read stuff on there, but it's supposed to be MASSIVE.
Generally, people who stay on WP just take a chance. You need to expect any day, or night, for your ocntent to be censored. LGBT books are targeted a lot (I write BL, so I know), and also "taboo" topics - WP deleted my twins book, lol, ughhh... It was 18+.
So, there. I have no good advice for you. maybe try them out, and see how it goes. But WP is the lesser evil. And it will give you the most reads. ;)
