You know, I have a book with ~15K hits, and only ~26 votes, and it got me thinking about voyeurism.
All my books' content is mature, I am a smut writer. The fact that the ratio between "reads" and "likes" was HUGE got me amused at first.
Then, I was confused by the fact that people were unwilling to support writers through a ⅜th of a second's worth by clicking on a star.
Then, I was depressed. For a couple of years, actually. I was thinking that all my hard work and sleepless nights were all for nothing. That my books were SO BAD that people wouldn't even waste a fraction of a second, to click.
Then, however, I delved into Psychology and Psychiatry. And I got to the topic of the common sexual disorder of voyeurism.
So, I'd like this video to be a special something for all the Peeping Toms online, who never vote, and never comment, and just stalk books and creators, the ones who read all our announcements but never reply, nor offer opinions or support.
