Ava's POV
The babies were sleeping softly in my arms, Aura Rae on my left and Matthew Miles on my right. I looked up at Alex and Matt, who were both watching me with quiet intensity. Skylar stood slightly behind Matt, smiling gently.
Alex: "They're perfect."
Ava: "I know... I can't believe they're finally here."
Matt: "You've been amazing, Ava. Seeing you with them... it's incredible."
Skylar: "She's stronger than anyone I've ever known."
Ava: "Thank you... all of you." I glanced at Alex, then Matt. "I don't know how to handle all of this. You... both care so much."
Alex: "You don't have to figure it out now. Just focus on them."
Matt: "Yeah. That's what matters. The babies. Everything else... we'll deal with later."
Ava: "But what about you two?" I whispered, glancing at them nervously.
Alex: "I'm here for you, Ava. Whatever you need."
Matt: "And I'll always care about you. No matter what."
Skylar: "And I'm here too Sis, for the family. We're all in this together."
I hugged the babies closer, taking in their warmth. Their little fingers wrapped around mine, grounding me. My heart ached and swelled at the same time. Love could be complicated... but right now, it was also enough.
Ava: "I love you all... I really do."
The room was quiet again, but this time it felt peaceful. For the first time in a long time, I wasn't just surviving—I was home.
