It All Started Like This... (Eren X Mikasa)

Chapter 4: It's HIM!!!!

Mikasa's POV:

Why?! Just why is he here? He wasn't supposed to do this to me! I'm already dealing with Jean and now this comes along and hits me in the face! I'm going to be in so much trouble... What am I going to do?

I sulked at my desk while he was introducing himself.

"Hello. I'm Levi." He said. My head was down in frustration. I was hoping to never see this guy again. He's way worse than Jean, whom just stalks me.

"God frickin' dammit!" I shouted accidentally. Everyone in the class shot looks at me like I was crazy. I was embarrassed and mad at the same time.

"Oh, it's you Mikasa!" Levi said with a smirk on his face. He walked toward me and leaned in closer to my face. I quickly got out of my chair and sat down on Eren's desk and hugged Eren close to my chest. I was blushing, but I managed to keep myself calm.

"I'm sorry Levi. I'm already dating Eren. So you can't kiss me anymore." I said. The whole class got confused and kept glaring at us, including the teacher, whom didn't bother to do anything, yet.

"Oh really? Are you sure that is not just some random guy you're hugging? I remember that I was your boyfriend last time... Wait, you dated my stalking stepbrother, Jean, after me, but still. If you date me, I'll make sure Jean stays away from you..."

His words just made me more irritated, but I had to make sure that I don't end up with him again.

"I am dating Eren!" I shouted.

"I don't think so, Mikasa. Why not just-" I interrupted by leaning in closer to Eren and crashed my lips into his. The whole class was staring and I was as red as a tomato, but that didn't matter now, as I had to convince Levi that I really was dating Eren.

I continued to kiss him, our lips dancing together in harmony. His lips felt like soft velvet against mine. I placed Eren's hand on my hips and both of our faces red. We really got into it and then abruptly, our lips separated so we could take a breath. I sighed and turned over to Levi. He was stunned. His eyes were wide and his expression was angered. I haven't see that kind of face before.

"Ugh... I will steal you away from him! So you better watch out!" He said while storming off to find an empty desk. I wondered why the teacher didn't do anyth- Oh. I saw that the teacher had fainted. I went back to my desk and put my head back down in agony.

The teacher finally came to their senses and requested to see Eren, Levi, and I after class. Then the class returned to how it was a few minutes ago. I looked back at Eren. I felt bad for him and I needed to apologize. I'm going to give him an explanation later...

-After Class-

"So, would any of you like to explain just what happened in my class earlier?!" The teacher was currently extremely angered with us, if you couldn't already tell.

"We're so sorry! Levi was my ex in middle school and I'm dating Eren. That's the best explanation I could give you..." I replied.

"Is that all you guys are going to say?" The teacher frowned deeply.

"It's actually Mikasa's fault for going out with my stepbrother when she left me!" Levi protested.

"It was because you got rude and arrogant! Jean promised to take me away from you! And now I'm the one running away from the both of you." I said angrily.

"That's enough for the both of you! And you, Eren! Why did you allow Mikasa to just up and kiss you in the middle of class?"

"Umm... I'm supposed to be her boyfriend, so I didn't really mind-" Eren was cut off.

"But in the middle of class Eren? You guys are giving me a headache here!" The teacher just sighed. "Well, you three will be cleaning the desks in this classroom for the rest of this week. Come back after school because your cleaning starts today."

All three of us sighed. We left the classroom and went down the hallway. Eren and I went to our next class. We were late, of course. As we sat down, I put down my head in big disappointment for the third time today.

-Lunch-

Eren's POV:

I walked over to the tree where Mikasa was eating and sat down next to her. She was looking really gloomy.

"Mind giving me a good explanation for what happened this morning?" I asked her.

"Ugh... I do owe you one..." She said weakly. She turned her head down and told me the story.

"Back in middle school, a lot of guys were crushing over me. Levi and Jean were two of them. Levi started getting friendly and hanged out with me. We became good friends and eventually he asked me out. I had no clue about love and I didn't want to make him sad since he was a good friend. So I said yes. We dated for a few months but it turned bad. He... Never mind. It's best not to mention what he did that turned our relationship rotten but Jean noticed it and took me away from him, promising he would protect me from him."

"Wow." I said while still processing all that. I was really shocked. "What about Jean?"

"After protecting me from Levi, we became really good friends. It was like déjà vu. Of course I was stupid enough to not realize that and after dating, he betrayed my trust. I moved away hoping to to see the both of them again but Jean has been stalking me ever since and Levi is here right now..."

"How have you been dealing with this?" I asked her.

"I don't know really... I guess I haven't really dealt with it." She replied. She turned her head up and looked at me with her mesmerizing eyes.

"Eren, can I ask you something?"

"What?" I wondered what would happen next.

"This might be repeating history but... I can trust you. But you better not betray me!"

"I won't!" I replied. What is she going to do? I looked at her and saw she was less gloomy now and her face started turning pink.

"Can you protect me from them? It might be another bad choice but..." She looked at me and started to look gloomy again. I grabbed her shoulders and brought her closer to me. I put my arms around her and hugged.

"Of course I can protect you! We may not be actually dating, but we're still friends. I'll help you out. Even if it gets crazy." I told her in a calm matter. I sighed and pushed her away a little bit. This was the first time that I was going to do it not because we were putting on a show but because I was feeling bad for her.

I leaned in to her and gave her a soft, gentle kiss on the lips. She was surprised and blushing but she didn't resist it.

"I'll be here for you. For the craziest reasons or normal one, I'll protect you..." My heart was pounding. I was sweating a little. Even though it was a little kiss.
What am I feeling right now?
