Chapter Special: Morning Dream

Mikasa's POV:

I'm so excited! My birthday is coming up soon! Oh, but that reminds me. I haven't told Eren about it yet.

Yes, I'll definitely will have to remember to tell Eren at school ...

-Next Morning-

Eren's POV:

"Ugh.... huh?" I was walking to school but something seemed weird. This school uniform I'm wearing.... why is it from middle school? Why do I feel like I'm so short? Wait..... how did I even get here? I don't remember getting out of bed and doing my normal routine before getting to school.

Well, regardless of my thoughts and questions, I continued walking to school along.... a familiar path.... Why do I feel like I'm back in middle school?

I managed to reach my school in a matter of seconds.... which should have taken me longer to get there but.... hey, is this my old middle school?

"Wait a minute, why did I walk here? I'm pretty sure I was supposed to go...." I was cut off when I unconsciously walked forward into the school. It was then I realized, I had no control of myself.

I continued walking forward into my old middle school and looking around wondering where my feet was taking me. I exited the hallway and found a ginormous building in front of me. What was so weird was that this building look like it was made up of other different buildings stacked on top of one another sloppily. I moved forward into the building, my curiosity growing more and more. I started wondering whether or not this was a dream.

I wandered into a giant hallway and turning into one of the classrooms... It was HUGE!!!

Unable to process all of this, I suddenly felt a chill go up my spine. I turned around and saw..... a...... colossal titan..... in the humongous doorway of the classroom looking down at me. I blinked for a second and screamed.

"Sind Sie das Essen? Nein, wir sind der Jäeger!" blared the alarm clock. (AOT opening)

I abruptly jumped from my bed and kicked it without thinking. It flew across the rooms and got cracked (for the 100th time).

After I calmed down, I realized that it was a dream. I was stuck in a weird dream..... but thankfully that was only a dream. Picking up the alarm clock, I wrapped some duct tape around it. I looked at the time and realized I had set up my alarm an hour earlier than needed.

I did my routine as usual and walked downstairs. I found that my parents were still cooking breakfast for themselves and sat myself down at the table. My dad and mom were surprised.

"Well, we didn't expect you to be up so early in the morning," my mom stated.

"I set my alarm an hour early by accident. Anyway, what are you guys cooking up this time?"

"Eggs and toast son. We were going to make a more nutritional breakfast for you but since you're already awake, you might as well have some," replied my dad.

"Thanks!" I exclaimed, drooling over the food that was sizzling on the metal pans.

It was finished a few minutes later and I received a helping of some well-cooked eggs and brown, crisp toast. I gobbled it all down in a matter of seconds.

"Thank you for the food!" I said clapping my hands together in a prayer-like way and standing up.

I ran upstairs and packed my bag. Rushing back down again, I was about to leave the house when I saw the time and remembered that I woke up early. I put down my backpack along the wall and ran upstairs.

Since I have so much time left, I decided to watch one of my favorite anime, Attack on Giant on my PC. I sat back and cuddled up in a blanket and watched a few episodes.....
