Chapter 22: A Serious Plan

-Next Day At School-

Mikasa's POV:

"Eren," I started curiously. "Is there something wrong?"

Eren had looked serious and deep in thought all morning. So much concentration. And Armin knew something was up too. Earlier....

-Flashback-

"Hey Eren!" exclaimed Armin. "What's 9 + 10?"

"19," I heard him reply in a serious tone.

"Awwww. Not 21?" Armin pouted.

"No. It's 19." Armin scratched his head and shook his head in dismay. He then took a deep breath and asked another question.

"What are those?"

"Shoes," he replied.

"Such a fast answer....." Armin too was lost in thought until he snapped his fingers.

"If Apple made a car, would it have Windows?"

"Yes it would." Armin's jaw dropped. Yet another quick-fired answer.

"Enough with the questions Armin." Eren pulled him in closer and whispered into his ears. Armin frowned but then it immediately turned into a smile. I couldn't hear it and was curious after Armin left.

Eren's POV:

"No, I'm fine," I stated.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. I am," I reassured her. My concentration today was merely focused on my plan and not to stir up suspicions, I also focused on studies. A bit too much I must say.

The bell rang and we got to our classes. We took our seats as the teacher walked in.

I took out my glasses and put them on to read a bit better. I opened my textbook to the correct page. It was very hard to multitask; studying and coming up with a plan.

When the teacher called on me, I gave a full fledged answer.

"The answer to how long it would take for the average bullet train to go from Tokyo to Osaka relies on the fact that the maximum operating speed is 320 km/hr or 200 mph. There is a lot of factors that goes into this regarding the fact that the distance between Tokyo and Osaka is 397 kilometers or 247 miles. But then you would have to take into account the amount of stops especially during rush hour. There is also the variable of how long the train stays at each stops. So it would take approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes for an average bullet train to go from Tokyo to Osaka during rush hour and approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes on normal hours." (A/N: I don't think this is correct so don't criticize it.)

The teacher just stood there in amazement while everyone's jaws dropped.

"That was..... a good answer....." the teacher stuttered.

She continued onto the lesson while everyone just remained quiet, unsure what to think. I continued formulating a plan anyway.

-Lunch-

Jean's POV:

I whistled throughout the hall, smirking everywhere I went. The plan was going smoothly. However, I did notice that Levi went missing at times. I wonder what that guy is up to.
