Charlotte's POV
Lately we've been scrolling thru social media because there was a breakout that we have an upcoming series. And everyone got so excited. I get good reactions and sometimes there are criticisms in which I get too sensitive because I am a perfectionist or very keen on feedback because that's how we do pageants. I tend to be distant after reading some tweets or responses from the people in the social media.
Unknowingly, one of my fans who stayed with me through the journey until now kept me safe and reassured me from my fanclub that they were always there for me and decided to come and visit with some drinks and food. I immediately stared at her why she came to me not knowing I'm in need of some company...
"No need to stare at me like that, here are some foods and drinks for you to choose from. Just leave some for your team.I was called to come because you've missed me."
I don't have the strength to open up because one word that will come out from my mouth will follow. I have to redo my make up. Then I hear a notification from my phone.
"Here's the clip from Phalo before I came here I decided to visit your child. You have to work hard for Phalo and your dreams as I try to work on mine.Hopong to have a chance to work with you again. " Those lines from her are not usual, It seems like someone told her to say that for me to toughen up.
To tell you the truth, since that night she took care of me that I completely blacked out in Samui she never left on my mind but we never really had a chance to talk heart to heart due to her hectic schedules and upcoming meeting that we have heard that Papa wanted to get a variety of projects for us, most of it are solo projects, which I also read some from those in the media as well. There's also that fear of separation but we wanted to achieve these dreams, we must trust him.
As I tried to sip the drinks she bought knowing this kind of flavor I knew who sent it.
I miss her. I mean it.
During the workshops and the filming it made me remember some moments we really had in the series and in real life. It felt really genuine and true. I hear it a lot from the director that in order for us to embrace the character we must relate ourselves to it. I mean the scripts were really from us, nearly like 70 percent. The thing is that there were things added to decipher Meena and Cherine as well.
I caught myself off guard as I was trying to look back and what we overcame together, there is the possibility of her making her own path but really something made us feel connected with each other. That led us to reconnect after a distant journey. We still find our way back together, and I don't really feel this feeling towards anyone but you.
Then, there was a knock. It's the Director. I decided to come out from the tent to look out for P'Fa.
Director: Now since we are done with some frames taped already we need to do your chemistry to thaw what's in between those you call "boundaries". Because in that way that the intimacy between the actors would be open and so that I can get that fire in you.
The director looked clueless and decided to have a break by going in our tents as I went in. First I was getting aware that our staff went out to have dinner. Only a few teams were left as I was stunned to look at the attire we needed to wear, swimsuits. I now understand what the director was saying. I tried to look behind if P'fa followed me but as I looked for her she was walking towards P'Sun getting some shot glass.
"She requested to have it since she's the one who will initiate the scene.D-do you want to drink too?"
I just smiled at the director because I might get out my character if I decided to drink. "I'm okay Phi" I replied.
