Chapter 47: The Surprise for Her

CLEO'S POV

Nakaupo lamang ako dito sa kama at nilalabanan ang emosyon ko. Gusto ko nang umiyak pero pinipigilan ko.

Napapitlag ako nang may kumatok.

Tamad na tumayo ako at lumakad patungo sa pintuan.

"Good evening, Mrs. Vergara, your husband is requesting for you in the poolside" magalang na sabi ng hotel staff. 

Napakunot ako. Gusto ko na mag-inarte at sabihin sa kanya na sabihin sa asawa ko na siya ang pumunta dito dahil siya naman ang nag-walk out kanina. Pero sa tingin ko ay pikon na si Matthew kaya tumango na lamang ako.

"Ang ganda niyo po sa personal!" kinikilig na sabi niya.

Natawa naman ako. She asked for our picture and I smile at her camera.

"Miss Saskia, ang swerte niyo po. Ang gwapo ng asawa niyo" nakangiting sabi niya pa din habang naglalakad na kami.

Sabi niya ay bawal daw na Tagalog ang gamitin nila sa mga guests pero ni-request ko iyon. 

"Salamat" iyon na lamang ang nasabi ko

"Sigurado maganda at gwapo din ang mga magiging anak niyo" patuloy niya pa.

I taste the same bitter taste on my mouth. 

Tahimik na kami hangganbg sa makarating kami sa poolside ng hotel.

The place is dark. 

Hindi kaya niloloko lamang ako ng babae na 'to?

Pipihit na sana ako paalis nang may marinig akong gitara na sinundan ng iba pang instrumento.

Now the parking lot is empty

Bumukas ang spot light na sa akin nakatutok kaya medyo napapikit ako. Isa pa ang bumukas na naka-focus naman sa asawa ko na nasa kabilang bahagi ng pool at nakaupo sa high chair at may hawak na gitara habang kumakanta.

Kanina ay masama ang loob ko sa kanya pero ngayon ay pakiramdam ko ay para akong natutunaw sa labis na pagmamahal. Naiiyak na ako sa sobrang kilig.

He stood up, get the mic from the stand and continue singing while walking towards the pool. He get the bouquet of flowers from the one near the pool.
