It had been months since the tragedy of Dean. Michael and him had made a deal to defeat Lucifer once and for all, which they did complete. But Dean had paid the price.

He wasn't strong enough to fight Michael and cast him out. Evidently, the archangel had taken Dean for a very long ride.

Jessica too had disappeared. Where she was, no one knew.

Right before Dean had made a deal with Michael he had told Sam that Jessica was gone.

That left just Sam and Charlie in the bunker now.

The two trying to figure out two problems at once.

"Any luck?" Charlie asked.

Sam shook his head.

"Nothing so far."

"Anything on Jessica?" A spark of hope sparkled in Charlie's eyes as he watch Sam for an answer.

The younger hunter sighed.

"No. Sorry Charlie."

Charlie sighed.

"Well, anything on Melissa then?"

This time, Sam nodded his head.

"Multiple sightings of a woman in burning buildings. Missing cases, murders. The whole nine yards."

"Great." Charlie huffed. "We got one lead on the person we hate the most right now. Awesome."

"Hey," Sam shut his laptop and pushed it to the side. "We'll find your aunt and we'll find Dean. We can't give up now."

"It's been months Sam, months." Charlie scratched at the wooden table as if hoping it would show him an answer to their situation. "What if we never find them?"

"We will, Charlie."

Charlie slowly nodded his head and stood.

"I'm gonna take a lap around the bunker."

"Alright."

Sam watched as Charlie then headed up the stairs and outside.

As the two had worked together, Sam got to know Charlie better. He even got to know more about Jessica through Charlie's stories.

If Dean was a lost cause, Sam vowed to search the ends of the earth for Charlie's aunt. But for right now, he was going to find them both.

After Jessica's talk with John, she still felt unnerved.

She knew what her future held. She practically saw it every night in her dreams.

As Jessica saw these dreams, she desperately tried to alter them. And when she did, when she was successful, they would go right back to how it was meant to be.

At that point, Jessica was slumped. John's words still echoing inside her mind as she walked further down the halls of heaven.
