His Bandmate

Chapter 4

Mia's P.O.V
I had just gotten done getting dressed and sat down on the couch. I had nothing to do Maddie was at work until 6, and I wasn't very close to anybody else. I scrolled through my contacts and ran over Niall's name. I thought about it for a second, and texted him.

Me: Hey are you doing anything today?

I waited a couple minutes until I finally got a reply back from him.

Niall: Hey! No I'm free today, why?

Me: Do you wanna meet up for lunch?

I hoped he would say yes or I would have to go by myself.

Niall: Yea sounds good! Meet you at Kelsey's?

Kelsey's was a little restaurant, down the street. It was one of the best places in town.

Me: Yea, sounds good! See you in ten?

Niall: Yea see you there!

I grabbed my bag while slipping on my shoes. I headed down the street, passing people on there way to work. I finally reached the restaurant and walked in.

"Hi, how many?" The waitress asked me.

"I'm supposed to be meeting someone here, but I'm not sure if they're here yet." I told the girl.

"Would it by any chance be Horan?" The girl asked.

"Yes!" I said.

"Ok follow me." I followed her back to a table with Niall sitting at it. Niall smiled at me and I smiled back.

I sat down and thanked the waitress while she took our drinks.

"Thanks for meeting me," I told him.

"No problem, I didn't have anything to do today anyway." He replied. I nodded as the waitress brought over the drinks. We went ahead and ordered our food to. I ended up getting a burger and fries.

"So what days do you work?" Niall asked me.

"I work on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Friday mornings. Then I have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays." I told him.

"What are you going to school for?" He asked.

"To tell you the truth I'm not sure yet."

"That's honestly what I would probably be doing, if the music thing wouldn't have worked out." Niall said.

"Yea, I just don't want to do something I won't like in the future." I said.

"Yea, I understand."

"Do you wanna go over to Harry's house, after this to watch movies?"

"Yea sure!" I said. After that our food was delivered, and we ate while we chattered here and there.

After we were done eating our food which Niall wouldn't let me pay for, we went to Harry's place.

"The boy's are already here," Niall said as we pulled up to Harrys house. We walked up to the door and Niall knocked while we waited for someone to answer.
A boy who I'm guessing is Harry opened the door.

"Hey Niall! You must be Mia!?" He asked me. I nodded my head with a smile.

"Nice to meet you! I'm Harry." He said while shaking my hand.

"Nice to meet you to!" I said with a smile. We walked in and Niall, and I took off our shoes. We walked into the living room following Harry.

All the boys said hi to Niall and to me when I walked in. I'm glad that Niall's friends were so nice, and not a bunch of idiots. I sat down in a chair next to Niall, and Liam. There was a movie already playing, and it looked familiar but I wasn't sure what it was.

"Do you want anything to drink?" Harry asked me.

"No I'm fine," I said with a smile. I directed my attention back to the tv.

"So Mia, where are you originally from?" Harry asked me. Everyone turned there attention to me.

"I'm from California, but I just moved here a couple years ago." I said.

"Why'd you move here? If you don't mind answering." Harry said with a smile.

"I just needed a change in my life, I had some bad memories from high school and I just wanted to move." I said with a small smile.

"So does your mom live here?" Harry asked.

"No she lives in California. She didn't want me to move, and she still isn't very happy about it." I said.

"So you have no family here?" Louis piped in.

I looked at him and shook my head saying no.

"Do you go home for holidays?" Louis asked.

"No, my mom told me not to come back after I moved here. My dad works 24/7 to."

"So what are you doing next month during Christmas?" Louis asked.

"Probably just staying home, I don't know yet." I answered. Louis frowned and looked down like he was in deep thought I decided to ignore it and turned back to the movie.

When the movie was playing my phone went of telling me I had to go home to study for a test tomorrow.

"Niall, can you give me a ride home I have school early tomorrow." I said.

"I would but I had a couple beers," Niall said.

"I can give her a ride." I turned around to see Louis getting up and heading towards the door. I said bye to the other boys and followed him over to the door, slipping on my shoes.

We walked outside, to his car and I climbed in the passenger side.

"Thanks for giving me a ride." I told him.

"No problem," he said.

"Turn right up here," I told him. He pulled up outside my apartment and I opened up the door.

"Thanks again," I told him.

"Bye," I said giving him a small wave.

"Bye," he said with a smile.
