Chapter 49

Mia's P.O.V

"Hi, come in!" I said as Maddie arrived at our house. She walked in and took off her shoes.

"I can't believe we're decorating your baby's nursery!" Maddie said.

"I know me either! I think Liam and Niall might come over and help put things together with Louis." I said.

"Ok, well let's get started." Maddie said. Louis was already in the room painting, and Maddie went over to help him. Louis wouldn't let me help him because he said he didn't want me to inhale all of the chemicals. So I was kind of upset that I couldn't help, but I understood where he was coming from.

"The boys said they were on there way, so can you let them in when they get here?" Louis asked me.

"Yea." I said as I walked in the kitchen. I was making Louis and the others lunch since they were helping. When I heard a knock on the door, I went to let in Liam and Niall.

The both gave me hugs and Niall asked how I was doing.

"I'm great, I'm really excited for the baby to get here." I said with a smile. I led them to where Louis was and Louis showed them the crib.
Niall took Louis place in painting, and Liam helped Louis start putting the crib together.

"I'll be in the kitchen tell me if you guys need anything." I said. I put the pizza that I had made in the oven, and set the timer. I went back into the living room to see how Louis and Liam were doing. They had just gotten the bottom part put together, and we're working on the sides.

"Do you guys need help?" I asked sitting on the recliner next to them.

"Nope we've got it babe, just relax." Louis told me. I smiled and watched them put it together. I laughed every now and then when they would argue on how to put it together.

I got up to go check on Niall and Maddie. When I walked in the room, I smiled at how nice the color looked. They had gotten the whole room done, since Louis had already finished about half before they got here.

"Thanks guys this looks amazing." I said smiling. "There's pizza in the kitchen if you're hungry." They both thanked me and went to eat.

I went back to Liam and Louis, and told them to take a break and go eat. Liam thanked me and went to eat. Louis went to go look at the baby room, and I saw him smile.

"I love this color." I said as I went next to Liam.

"Me too." He said wrapping his arm around my waist. We stood there a few minutes before Louis took me to the kitchen to get something to eat. Maddie had to leave, so I said bye to her before going to sit down.

"Do you guys have any names in mind?" Liam asked us as we sat down.

"No we haven't really thought of it." I said looking at Louis.

"You should name him James." Niall said with a smile, and looking at Liam. Liam agreed with a smirk.

"I like the name James." I said with a shrug.

"No absolutely not we are not naming our baby after these idiots." Louis said shaking his head.

"Oh come on!" Niall said. Louis shook his head and I laughed. Liam and Louis went back to working on the crib, and Niall helped me clean up.

We both went into the living room watching Liam and Louis. They finally managed to get everything put together, and then moved it in the nursery.

"We should probably get going." Liam said as he checked the time.

"Thank you guys for coming over and helping." I said.

"No problem call us if you two need anything else." Liam assured us. We said bye then Louis went to sit down on the couch.

"I'm going to use the bathroom." I told Louis. When I finished I washed my hands, and grabbed a towel to dry off. I dropped the towel and my eyes went wide.

"Louis!" I heard Louis running back to the bathroom, and he soon arrived.

"What!? What's wrong? Are you okay?" He asked panicked. I grabbed his hand and put it on my stomach. He frowned when he felt it, then looked up at me.

"Is he kicking?" He asked with a wide smile. I nodded smiling down at my stomach. Louis lifted up my shirt, and pressed a kiss onto my stomach.

"I love you." He whispered, as he kissed my stomach again. My heart swelled, and Louis put his hand on my stomach again. The baby kicked again and Louis smile stretched a mile across his face.

"I can't believe that's our baby." He whispered. He wiped his eyes and I went shocked. Louis was crying over our baby kicking. I smiled and wrapped my arms around him, bringing him in for a hug. He hugged me back, and I felt him wipe his eyes again. I leaned back and wiped his eyes.

"You're going to make me start crying." I said with a small laugh.

"Sorry." He said laughing, and kissing my cheek.

"You're so sweet." I said giving him a soft kiss on his lips. He smiled and put his hand on my stomach.

"I love you Mia."

"I love you too Lou."
