Chapter 20

Mia's P.O.V
When I arrived home I had to go in to work. I sent a text to Louis telling him I had arrived at home.

Maddie wasn't working today, and things were going really slow.

I've only had two people to serve the hour I've been here. Louis was at his concert right now so I couldn't text him either.

"You can go home if you want." Jackie said. Jackie was one of the other people that worked with me.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yea, I'll probably close up soon anyways."

"Ok thanks." I said with a smile. I grabbed my bag and headed home.

I was unlocking my door when my phone vibrated.

Louis: Hey babe! The shows over, if you want to FaceTime.

Me: Yea give me a couple minutes I just got home.

Louis: Ok! :)

I took off my jeans and put on joggers. I put on a sweatshirt over my shirt. I laid down on my bed, and texted Louis.

Me: Do you want me to call you?

Not even a minute later Louis started calling me. I smiled and answered. Louis face popped up on the screen, and he smiled.

"Hi," he said.

"Hi," I said smiling.

"I miss you." Louis said.

"I miss you to, a lot." I said with a small chuckle.

"Just think I'll be back soon." Louis said.

"I know I can't wait." I yawned and laid my head down.

"I should let you go and get some sleep."

"Ok can we FaceTime after my class tomorrow?" I asked.

"Yea. I'll call you tomorrow."

"Ok bye." I said.

"Bye." I hung up and sighed before falling asleep.

I woke up and got dressed, before heading to my morning class.

The professor went on and on, before assigning us a project. I picked up my things and walked home. On the way home I picked up McDonalds for lunch.

When I arrived home, I sat down and started eating before calling Louis. When I was getting  ready to call him there was a knock on my door. I ran to the door and answered it.

In front of me stood a guy with a dozen pink roses. "These are for Mia." The delivery man said.

"Oh thank you!" I closed the door then looked at the roses, there was a little card that I picked up and read.

I miss you beautiful.. Not long until I can see you. xxx. -Louis

My heart melted and I felt a tear roll down my face, I wiped my face before I called Louis on FaceTime.

When Louis answered, he had a big smile on his face.

"Hi beautiful!" He said.

"Hi thank you so much for the flowers, they're beautiful." I said.

"Well I'm glad you liked them. How's your day been so far?"

"Boring, what about yours?" I asked him chuckling.

"It's been ok, but I want to come home." He said.

"Well just enjoy your time there, and before you know it you'll be home."

"Yea, I wish you could be here." He said.

"Me to." I said sighing. I felt a tear run down my face, and I know Louis saw it but he didn't say anything. Louis was talking to someone in the background before he turned towards me.

"Sophie said she wants you to call her." Louis said.

"Ok bye." I said.

"Bye love, I'll talk to you soon."

He hung up and I called Sophie.

Sophie: "Hello?"

Me: "Hey Sophie, Lou said that you wanted me to call you?"

Sophie: "Yea, how are you doing?"

Me: "Ok I guess."

Sophie: "Louis worried about you, he saw you crying."

Me: "I know I just miss him."

Sophie: "You'll see him soon I promise."

Me: "Ok, I have to go. I need to work on school things."

Sophie: "Ok I'll talk to you soon."
