Chapter 48

Mia's P.O.V

I had called my dad this morning and told him that we were expecting a boy. He was so excited and happy that it made me smile.

Now we were on our way to Louis moms to tell her. We had gotten her four blue cupcakes with 'It's a boy' written across all of them. She didn't know that we had found out yet, so I was excited to see her reaction.

We pulled into the driveway, and Louis came around to my side to help me out. I wasn't very big yet, but it was pretty obvious to anybody that I was pregnant.

Since yesterday when we found out that we were having a boy, Louis been really protective of me, and I find it really sweet. Louis had the box of cupcakes and we knocked on the door. His mom greeted us at the door with a wide smile.

"Hi guys come in!" She said stepping aside. She gave Louis a hug, and then gave me a hug.

"The baby's getting so big!" She said smiling and looking at my stomach. I smiled, and Louis asked where everyone was at. Johanna called everyone into the room, and Dan came in with the twins. He set them down in their play pin, and came over giving Louis and I a hug.

"The girls are at school so they're not at home." Johanna told us. I was a little bit bummed out that they wouldn't be here but got over it.

"So we got something for you guys." Louis said handing his mom the cupcake box.

"Oh thank you! You two didn't have to do that!" Johanna said setting the box down and starting to open it. Her eyes widened when she saw the cupcakes, and she covered her mouth.

"For real!?" She questioned. We both nodded and she wrapped both of us in her arms.

"Oh my God congratulations!" She said. Dan gave us both hugs telling us congratulations, and then they both started questioning us.

"Have you guys gotten anything yet?" Johanna asked.

"Yea we've gotten about 7 outfits so far, and the bottles. We were going to go shopping after this for the crib, and everything else." Louis said. One of the twins started crying and Dan went to go get them. He came back with Doris, and sat down.

Doris held her arms out for me, and I smiled taking her out of Dans hands and setting her on my lap.

"Hi!" I said as she looked at me. She smiled and my heart warmed knowing I would be holding my own baby boy, in only a few months.

I cradled her in my arms, and she sat there looking at me.

"Love we should go." Louis said knocking me out of my thoughts and I looked up to see Louis, Johanna, and Dan smiling at me.

"Ok." I said handing Doris over to Dan. We hugged both of them before we left. We stopped at a baby store on the way home and started looking around.

"What colors did you want?" Louis said stopping by the paint section.

"How about the baby blue color." I said showing him a color. Louis nodded and we put them in the car. Louis walked over to the cribs, and we both looked around. Louis ended up picking a cute white crib, and a matching white chair to go with it. We picked out a matching stroller and crib, but we had those to where they would be shipped to us since we didn't have enough room in our car. Louis and I got a couple packs of diapers so we could start stocking up.

We checked out, and took everything to the car. Louis wouldn't let me help him put anything in the car, since he didn't want me lifting anything.

We headed home after that and got everything inside.

"We can start painting tomorrow. Why don't you see if Maddie can come help?" Louis asked. I agreed and texted her. She texted me back saying that she would be over at one tomorrow.

"I'm really excited for the baby to get here." I said as Louis wrapped his arms around me.

"Me too." Louis agreed.
